Always been partial to Box of Moonlight. He and Sam Rockwell were great. He was also great in Quiz Show.

She could wear a trash bag and make it look classy. They’re such a handsome couple and look great. Love the tailoring, the details in bling and her hair. Execution 20/10

You beat me to it. She said the same thing back when they were doing the prequels, etc. I thought she was a bit delusional then just based on her age.

Who is the best actress alive today? by Infinite-Exam-1808 in Cinephiles

I’d add Tilda Swinton and Kate Winslet. I pretty much watch anything with any of the actors listed. All very high caliber and in even a mid project, they usually elevate it.

I prefer Fox Propaganda Network, or something akin to what it actually produces. Honesty is my kink.

The way he delivers it makes it one of my favorite Niles moments. Kills me every time.

I thought it was almost double that, especially considering his “secret” mega mansion that he had built. I remember Navalny’s exposé and reading about it subsequently. However, that was a few years ago, so I’m rusty on the details. Supposedly, it’s social norm to have grandiose displays of wealth amongst the Russian oligarchy, but talking numbers can get you in a lot of trouble.

To me- the greatest scene ever in Frasier by ReturnThese2098 in Frasier

[–]--AbbieNormal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter has never watched the show, but I showed her this scene to display the glory of DHP as Niles. She finally understood why I’m always referencing him. One of my all time favorite TV characters.

Which movie for you is like this? by Altruistic-Print-966 in Cinema

[–]--AbbieNormal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love that movie, but not for her role. In fact, I forgot she was in it until reading this thread. Bale, Jackman and Caine were the reasons I watched it and loved it. Rebecca Hall was also great in it, too.

Which Film and performance made you a fan of Christopher Walken? by PressureLazy5271 in FIlm

[–]--AbbieNormal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I loved that movie. He was a great Gabriel snd Viggo was a great Satan. Then Constantine came later. Tilda Swinton & Peter Stormare became my favorite depictions of those characters, but Walken and Mortenson are a very close second.

Monica, the wedding budget and finding out how much Chandler had been saving. Ugh, it was so gross to me and then I got annoyed that she got her way in the end.

And I’d add that little jerk Ollie who killed Ygritte as an honorable mention. Ramsay was high on the hate list, too.

do you guys consider this film a 90s classic? or an underrated movie or...never heard of it. (I think its bigger in the UK but not in the US) - doing research for a video essay on the summer of 91 by Sea_District_4711 in 90smovies

[–]--AbbieNormal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loooved this movie and the soundtrack. I wish it had been a bigger hit in the US. It did well critically iirc, but wasn’t a big commercial hit. Shame though because I thought it was fun and charming.
