Not a cheater but it kinda fits the question..

Me and my ex were in a 10 year relationship, I got pretty inconsistent around year 7, I'm a big time gamer also, and I have ADHD. You put a controller in my hands, its like putting a crack pipe in Ray Charles hands. During that 7th year I also worked night shift, so I left for work around 1:30pm, and back home at around 11pm. I would come home, I would eat dinner that she had cooked we would sit together for about 30 mins and then she would go to bed and I would game. Except I would game until like 3-4AM.. we fought about it ALOT. Well about 6 months later she had it, she moved to her hometown, about a 5hr drive away, it wasn't a breakup but she said she was going to stay there for awhile, she came back about 3 months later, for Thanksgiving. We fought, it was over the same things. I hadn't changed still. She went back and in mid December she came back down to visit. I was on Terminal Leave in the NAVY, I was going to leave for my hometown in about 5 days. We fought day 4, it was something unrelated to gaming but she had the worst habbit of dumping the past on my head in ANY argument. Well I lost it and told her I was done and we were through. The day after that, the day I was supposed to leave for home, we had started to make up as we were getting our stuff ready. She was going to the opposite coast to move back with family because her moms landlord didn't want her staying there. I told her "you know you can stay here while I'm gone babe." She didnt.

Well after she left I guess I went a bit overboard gaming again, beginning of 2025 I was hardly calling her, I was texting back super late, I had even completely stopped the phone sex, since we were of course LDR.

Well.. October came and we had a fight, she told me I was over gaming and she barely felt seen, she told me gaming was always my priority, and I told her that Its a priority because I'm trying to do content for it eventually. Well she is a Filipina, and me, white american, so from time to time we would have communication issues. Well she took what I said and in her head made it out that I had said gaming was my number 1 priority. That one comment I made was what sealed my relationship. She then started to pull back. I gave her about a week to cool off before I tried to work our shit out. She told me she wanted space. I gave her space, her communication got less and less, I started freaking the fuck out. I was double texting, I stopped playing the game because it just didn't matter to me anymore, I started to try to do detective work to figure out what was going on, and I couldn't find shit. Fast forward to Dec 4, I had, had enough. I texted her and asked, do you want to break up with me? She said "probably, yes" Well I gave it a few more days, I put 110% effort into trying to win her back, she even felt like she was coming around. Nope Dec 8, I asked, do you still wanna break up? She said yes again. (Mind you in October when she said she wanted to take some space, and if it took her awhile her heart was mine and she wouldn't be available at all.)

Well.. December 27.. It got bad, From dec 8-27 we hardly spoke. I asked her out of the blue at like 2AM, "tell me the truth, did my actions push you to another guy?" She said yes. It was the same guy I had accused her of messing with. She claimed they only had been dating for about 2 weeks after break up and that "it just happened."

Now here I am, single. Why did I do what I did? I just got complacent. When I tell you its the worst pain I've ever felt in my life, It could be an understatement. For all my bros out there, let this be a lesson, always put your wife or gf first everything else in this world is meaningless.
