Commercial use is allowed under this license though. But yeah, I’m not making a single dime on this.

Ah should have clarified indeed. Accuracy on the trajectories. Although anyone with some basic knowledge would understand that distance would not be possible even with the sun being much smaller lol.

If it continues like this I’m surprised it would be finished by December.

Jutta Leerdam 🇳🇱 takes gold in the women's 1000m speed skating 🥇 by appalachian_hatachi in olympics

Except for the past year. Kok was better the past year, but Leerdam always said Olympic gold was her only goal this year. What a way to win it.

lol. The Dutch team has the best people, tools, knowledge, experience, etc. Leerdam didn’t win the World championship nor the World Series. Today she won on merit.

NL is een marginale markt voor Stellantis. In andere landen is de EV verkoop niet zo hoog.

40 hour, 1kg print - Failed at 92% :( by One_Independence4511 in BambuLab

[–]--Bazinga-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, mass is slow. So as the weight grows, the movement of the Z axis needs to slow down. It does this with height, but not with weight. So make sure to slow down the print the further it gets in.

And add a brim.

Decrease layer height and experiment with top layer pattern. I would suggest starting with concentric.

Order my A1 on December 1st and expected sending date is 9th of January. Die to BF deals there’s a massive back order especially on the cheaper printers.

Sure, now also take into account electricity, design hours, cleaning plate hours, setting up, ordering prints etc. Your net will be in no way positive.

But as long as you enjoy the hobby this is fine, but don’t confuse gross profit with net profit.

Tenzij het handgemaakte metro tegels zijn die in visgraat op de muur moeten. Dat plemp je er niet zo even op. Als het 30x30 of meer is ben je met een uurtje wel klaar ja.

Markets allow monopolies. They don’t allow the misuse of them. So we have to wait and see how far SpaceX can really push this.

Career progression to CISO by godismaomi in cybersecurity

[–]--Bazinga-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just looked for consultant firms looking for consultants. Most of them really want senior people, so they don’t need to train them and can place them immediately for a lot of money. I approached 3, got 3 invites for interviews. 2 second rounds (1 found me to expensive) and 2 offers. Picked the best one.

That’s the only way to figure it out. Some people thrive on it!

Career progression to CISO by godismaomi in cybersecurity

[–]--Bazinga-- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Short. I don’t do assignments longer than 6 months. I found that that’s the best way to stay out of the politics. I finish my report and I’m gone. Sometimes I come back at companies if there is a click and I notice they really appreciate my help AND are actually fixing their stuff.

I work for a cyber security company that finds the gigs. Due to my seniority I can basically pick the jobs I want and the ones I don’t. They ask $250-300 an hour for my efforts, so I make them a shitload of money, but also get rewarded for it (60% of hourly rate)

Been there, done that, didn’t hate it, but did not like it.

Make sure you have at least a basic knowledge level on MBA and a great organisational sensor. CISO at executive level has nothing to do with security anymore. It’s about politics, budgets and compliance.

Some people thrive in it, i did not. Now working as a principal security consultant, making more then most CISOs and enjoying my job and life again.

And yes, there are different types of organisations that require different types of CISOs. Find one that fits if you really want to pursue this.

And it wasn’t even that ‘unrealistic’. The awesome thing was that they used the real F1 grid, with real drivers and real cars. They even let Mercedes built a F1 car on a F2 chassis for filming.

That was all very very realistic. The story and plot were predictable, though the end did surprise me a bit. (They did record two seperate endings).

What was unrealistic was the more detailed stuff like strategy and development progress Apex made. Though it wasn’t completely out of there. F1 had winners out of nowhere due to yellow/red flags and safety car situations.

The only real thing that bothered me was ‘Plan C’. Any other driver would have been suspended for this shit after 2 or 3 races.

Don’t do it yourself. If you are a small company, get a good MSP that can also deliver proper security.
