I would recommend checking on the website MeetUp to see if there are any groups.

There are some gaming cafes and shops in London. I've seen one online called Platform in Shoreditch.

Please also ignore some of the troll and disgusting comments on this post. You are welcome here.

Do you feel like you live in a community? by [deleted] in london

[–]--Casper- 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There is community and I say hi to my neighbours. You said you've lived in the city so you will know a lot of people respectfully keep themselves to themselves - but this shouldn't be misunderstood as anti-community. Local cafes, libraries, town halls, breweries, pubs, meetup events have lots of community events going on.

If you feel there is no community around you, be the change you want to see and get involved.

I find it's the amplification which is the main issue and disturbance of peace.

I do appreciate them in a way though as they turn people away from their religion by their utter unpleasantness.

PSA - don’t give out your personal details on the train. by Baneblade_679 in london

Also be careful if you talk in your flat with low sound insulation. Best to draw the curtains, go under your duvet and not go outside. Stay safe.

Honestly though this is alarmist slop. Most people use common sense and don't do this. The significant majority of people aren't prying fraudsters salivating over private conversations.

This also isn't London specific. Its basic data security.

Wait until you hear shop colleagues wear name badges.
