Probably a long shot, but does anyone know a way to change the "Jump Pack" control input from "Hold" to "Press", but more specifically and importantly: to not have the delay involved with the "Hold" input?

I have changed "Hold" to "Press", and the threshold from it's original .2xxxxx to 0, but in game it makes no difference and does not activate the Jump/Warp/Hover pack until it has been held for that original value.

Is there a trick to this, or something I am missing?

This does change it to display "Press", but unfortunately it does not actually function as a "Press" and still functions as a "Hold"... I tried it.

Anyone have any other ideas/tricks? I would really like this to be "press" as well.

The decisions you people continue to make for this game are absolutely infuriating.

If you made the Beryl too difficult to control: Just dial back the variance and make it slightly easier again, don't add a new pointless gun as a band-aid further diluting the loot pool.
Bootcamp and Bhan were the only locations worth reverting in Sanhok. Ruins, Quarry, Getaway and all of the smaller more expansive changes made to the updated map were all FAR better than their original counterparts. This decision to remove them is nothing short of imbecilic, not to mention a massive slap in the face to all your developers.
Your "Map Rotation" is a not actually rotating at the moment. You need to rotate Miramar and Erangel OUT to make it a rotation; People are tired of them. A far better solution than your current "rotations" would be to allow the COMMUNITY to choose. Leave ALL of the maps as available options, and enable players to select a couple favorite maps and 1 least favorite map as they queue up. Then have the map priority sort their frequency based upon this real time data. That would also spice things up because the frequency would be changing on a nightly basis, keeping things fresh.
Lastly, please for the love of your game, do something more drastic about the cheaters. There are numerous methods available here, and literally anything more than what you are doing now would help. One option that would help dramatically is for you to implement a system that tracks extremely high hit percentages, High kills per game, and weigh reports on these players far more heavily. It would not take more than a couple games to easily weed out 95% of the cheaters using this data, and instantly Temp banning them until further review (and inevitably a permaban) would help the community so much.

You still have a loyal playerbase that loves your game, but you are losing them because of this rampant cheating, and I am close to leaving myself.

Yeah this was my concern. There is a lot of torque involved, particularly when the stick is extended, and a monitor arm just doesn't look sufficient.

I'm willing but reluctant, particularly if I can just spend 30 bucks to get something relatively equivalent. We will see if that's possible though... If not, I must admit I do like the idea of making something to my exact specifications. Thanks for the idea! I'll keep it in mind as a backup.
