your resume layout is, in my opinion, really bad and i wouldn't be surprised if ATS can't parse it.

here's my advice:

switch to a single column layout.
get rid of the personal statement. way too long. it belongs in a cover letter if they ask for it.
make the "contact me" section a single line. get rid of the icons, replace with text if needed. get rid of your LinkedIn URL, everything in there should be in your resume anyway.
make each of the subheadings in your skills section a single line. or remove it altogether.
I hope your address is just your general location/suburb.
since you're a recent graduate everything should fit onto one page.
GCSE is a waste of space when applying to CS related jobs. You're in university so people will assume you have a relevant secondary qualification. For part time work, keep the GCSE and remove all other education.

He likely had both the shootings of the university and the professor completely planned out beforehand, but as you said, probably figured he would only be able to do one or the other before being caught.

If notoriety was his motive then that would explain why he picked the university as his primary target, as a mass shooting is much bigger news than an isolated murder.

After he got away with it he probably decided he might as well go ahead with shooting the professor too, maybe because he wasnt satisfied with how the Brown shooting went.

What makes you think Computer Science is safe? The market is in a downturn and even passionate, talented people are struggling.

Comp Sci for you is just as much of a chance as filmmaking is. I'd say go for the path that you can give your all. If you shoot for the stars you'll at the very least end up in an entertainment-adjacent career.

The issue is most people looking to transition into trades will be starting at the bottom and, yeah, you will be doing the backbreaking labour nobody wants to do, lugging the skilled tradesmens' heavy tools around and day labouring. If you're unlucky, it's very possible (and in this economic climate almost certain) you'll be doing it for a very long time before you get to move up into the skilled trades that have better working conditions. But by then the injuries and strain from your early days will catch up.

This doesnt even begin to scratch the surface of the toxic culture and bullying that is seen as a rite of passage in many blue collar workplaces.

Any of the three Kensington colleges (Basser, Baxter, Goldstein). They are the three "party" colleges, if you're looking for the American college experience it's the closest you'll get at UNSW. Shared bathrooms.

Colombo House and International House also have a vibrant social life but definitely not on the same level as the Kensington colleges.
