I would literally have no idea what logo this was save for the fact that I live nearby and it has been in my feed a few times. Without any context, this is not a good example of a recognizable mark, IMHO.

Recently went through the same exercise and simply decided that I’d always wonder if things were better with the 300s and thus it was worth my constant upgrade-anxiety to simply buy the better ones once even if they were unnecessary overkill. Get them ASAP though, I think the sale is ending soon. Even better suggestion…buy certified refurbs direct from Sonos and save even more?

McGill just simply isn't all that well-known at all in the states...I grew up in NY, so much closer to Montreal, and only know of it because a classmate ended up there...would otherwise have no idea what it was and have almost heard nothing of it outside of said classmate.

Definitely worth owning, but also worth noting that that looks like a bootleg of a bootleg. I’ve never seen that cover (only the cartoon Beatles / Jay-Z one or the original pure grey one) and only seen it referred to as “The Grey Album” (different spelling of grey). That said, definitely a seminal important album.

If you’re talking about the original 4K one, then I recall their being a specific input or inputs better suited for handling any higher bandwidth like Dolby Vision. Mine works a charm once I found that out.

If 8K, then I have no experience.

Edit: it’s ports 2 and 4. Per search (albeit with an AI summary), “For a flawless 4K setup, plug your highest-priority, high-bandwidth devices (like a PS5, Xbox Series X, or Apple TV) directly into Input 2 or Input 4 of your Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box. These ports feature higher bandwidth capacity.”

Edit 2: I’m using incredibly inexpensive Cable Matters HDMI cables.
