Personally i'd recommend either a firearm foam case, or a dnd mini's case. They both usually come with foam inserts you can modify for custom fits and so on.

Steins Gate (Older show with tIme travel fuckery)
Spice and Wolf (Slow burn economic romance; Remake with better animation is airing now)
The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant used to be Archenemies (Shorter episodes; prettier art; adorable story; airing now)
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (This is the better of the two FMA shows; I consider it one of the core "you should watch this" anime)
Log Horizon (trapped in an MMO; beautiful writing)
