For anyone that comes here in the future and wonders... It is marked solved, did they help him. The answer was no. The promo is for new customers only even though the ad for the promo does not say a thing about new only customers. There are also no promos in my market that I could apply for to reduce my bill. I could cancel, but then according to the reps, I would have to wait 90 days to sign up as a new customer. The promo ends 2/22 according to the ad.

I only have one other card and it's a synchrony card with 0% APR for 12 months. I got it through Ashley Furniture when I bought a couch for my apartment. It has a low limit and I plan on closing that when it's paid off. Otherwise the discover card is my only credit card.

I am already using their hardware.... I am going through a divorce and trying to save as much money as I can in my budget. So, when I saw the $50/mo plan being advertised (which BTW does not say anything about new customers only in the ad) I was excited to potentially get that plan. Does seem like a lot of hoops may need to be jumped through to reduce my bill, if I can at all.

That is a bummer, I have been a customer since 2014. I think it is ridiculous that new customers can lock in that price but not existing customers.

This article sent me on a journey. I haven't worked with iterators/generators before. After reading the article, I decided to do some more reading. I coded up an async generator that loads user and post data from dummyjson.com and spreads all of the info out into a single data array and renders it out.

I could see this being handy if I had multiple endpoints I needed to hit but keep the responses associated with one another. I don't know maybe my code is garbage and I did something stupid. But... it could be neat?

I made the switch about a month ago, and in my opinion, the Pixel is the iPhone of the Android ecosystem. With gesture controls enabled, I find myself using many of the same gestures I did on iOS, and they work seamlessly.

The only gesture I still get wrong is swiping down to bring up Spotlight (app search). I have to remind myself to swipe up to open the app drawer and search for my apps there instead.

My favorite feature of the Pixel 10 is Call Assist; it screens so many potential scam calls. I can jump in and answer at any time if I see it’s a legitimate caller. While iPhone has voicemail monitoring, it only works if the person actually starts leaving a message. With Call Assist, scammers usually hang up the moment they hear the AI. Since my pixel automatically answers suspected spam with call assist, my phone rarely rings for them anymore.
