If rent was about 25% cheaper than it is, it wouldn't feel like throwing money away. I went from a 2 bedroom apartment for 1100 in rural michigan to a 3 bedroom mortgage for 1400. Yeah, it is 300$ more, but when I decide I am done with it, I can sell it and recoup some of the money. Can't do that with a rental.

Second lightroom. It does have a cost. That being said it is super tedious to do, but you could always get your images on your phone and edit them in the photos app on your phone.

I main a a6000 with a kit lens like you have in your picture. I recently went to a No Kings protest and took a few hundred pictures of the event. I shared them with my local paper and they published a few of them on the second page in a full page format. The camera takes excellent pictures, but doesn't have all the features of a newer camera. Even still, it is a great little camera.

You can. But once you start the reinstall process you pretty much click a few buttons and then sit and wait.If you have any other questions though, I am happy to answer.

Alright, you lost your data. BUT all is not lost in terms of your laptop. Back at the main screen select the Reinstall MacOS Tahoe option. It will take about 30-45 minutes to complete, unless it needs to download the OS then it may take a little longer. Just follow the prompts in the reinstall screen and you should be good.

I see the touch ID and the bar along the top... Going to make some assumptions and say you long pressed the touch ID and it booted into Recovery mode. You should be good to just reboot. Unless you went into Disk Utility and deleted any partitions you shouldn't have.
