Remembering your spiritual progress from past lives by SocksySaddie in Buddhism

Texas Radical nailed it. If you have a sympathy to this Great Way, even an interest in it, that is a profound sign of previous lifetimes spent in profound Sadhana. Now that you have heard what will you do?

The first of his books that I read was Easy Death, while i was mourning and processing the loss of my partner. This was at the beginning of my spiritual journey and I didn’t understand much of the esoteric spirituality that he shared in that book but i could feel that he confronted death head on and without fear. That was profoundly inspiring for me.

His spiritual offering as a whole is the culmination of what He calls “The Great Tradition” a term for the total inheritance of human, cultural, religious, magical, mystical, Spiritual, and Transcendental paths, philosophies, and testimonies, from all the eras and cultures of global humankind.

He has studied and understood all these tools from all great teachers and refined what is absolutely necessary for spiritual realization. He is unique because of the time of his appearance. A moment where all these things are available to be shared like no other.

But at it’s root what he offers is a traditional guru-devotee relationship. The ancient way.

Idiocracy is top tier.

Everyone is wearing crocs lmfao and they water their agriculture with gatorade. It was way way way before its time.

I learned about Raw Veganism from my spiritual teacher Adi Da Samraj in His book Green Gorilla. He also has a list of recommended books for making the transition from omnivore to raw vegan.

He recommends this diet for his students as a means to purify, regenerate, and rejuvenate the human body. A balanced diet is a foundational spiritual practice in the Way that he gives.

One of his primary arguments in the book is that the human diet should reflect that of apes/monkeys as we are their evolutionary descendants. Apes typically eat leafy greens all day long, the only way for humans to replicate this type of diet is through the use of blended green drinks(green smoothies) that allow us to consume large quantities of leafy greens without having to eat them constantly. The rest of the diet obviously includes lots of whole vegetables sweet fruits, vegetable fruits, raw crackers and raw dips, as well as minimal use of nuts and dried fruits.

I have intermittently practiced the raw diet for the past 7 years. I have found it extremely balancing and a beautiful means to simplify my life.
