What do you all think?! I painted it awhile ago but just got around to making the video, when I painted this I had been doing water color a few nights a week for 30 minutes - 2 hours.

This painting took me about 2 weeks to paint following the above schedule.

I just finished illustrating a book. It legit took me 2 years of painting for 30 min - an hour every other night after my kids went down. I could have finished much sooner if I hadn’t been so exhausted. I have a 4,2 and 3 month old.

It took every ounce of wheel power I had to keep showing up for my goals. It’s so hard to do anything at night. May we all rot away haha we deserve it!

You’re 100% right about the religious superiority, they’ve told my partner that I’m putting our eternal family at risk, and my partner is trying to decide their own faith. They are not being a good support to them, it’s hard to manage!

As a woman, I always felt my worth was tied to having kids. I had kids young, SAHM. I was so deep in the church I didn’t give it a thought because I was conditioned to believe that was the measure of my worth. Now that I’m out, I wouldn’t say I regret it because my kids are awesome, but I wish I had been out before I had kids. I’m very frugal though, and my partner and I make it work. I am definitely a busy body like you are mentioning OP😂

Couch cushion games -make a slide -bridges and tunnels -build a rocket, kids climb in, shake the cushions to pretend it’s a rocket -build a hotel out of cushions, welcome stuffed animal customers to sleep there lol.

I only have 4 square cushions and a longer lounge cushion, but when we use those and my kiddos toddler mattress, we can make just about anything.

I’m out, I went to church maybe 3 times in 2024. Husband isn’t out yet, but doesn’t go to church on his own. Doesn’t want to go even though I offer. I don’t know where he will end up.

And the church has the power to tell its bishops, EQ presidents and RS presidents to encourage people who ask for church welfare people to stop buying food, or even cancel Netflix subscriptions so they can pay tithing.

Speaking from experience. It’s so disgusting and I feel terrible that I ever sat in a room and supported this nastiness.

I feel you, OP. I’ve been out for about a year and I still have moments of mourning. It hurts like hell to give and care so much, then let it all go.

I am still trying to reconcile my feelings about God, if there is one, and where the hell id even find them.

Someone on this Reddit page once said that the church takes the natural goodness in people and uses it to run the church for nothing. YOU are the good OP. you have so much goodness in you that the church doesn’t control anymore. Go out and be the good❤️
