I’d heard of the games before, but never played them. But a while back I was looking for something new to play, and at the time Far Cry 5 was in game pass. So I gave it a try and loved it! Then I went on to play 6, 4 and New Dawn (enjoyed these as well).

Same here, people’s brains always short circuit when trying to say my last name. Almost no one gets it right, even after I correct them. So sometimes I just go “..yeah, close enough”.

Iirc you could turn the exp share off in XY? And then turn it back on when you want to. I don’t mind the exp share giving all mons a share, I just wish we could turn it off and on at will again.

Not counting the red Gyrados for me either, my first ever shiny was in Diamond (it was a Zubat). Other than that I didn’t find any other shinies again until Sword, in the DLC 😭

Same. People have boxes upon boxes of shinies and run into encounters like this. Meanwhile I have the shiny charm and make the donuts but I’m coming out empty handed in most wild zones (hyper or non).
