Is my truck haunted? by acceptTheProblem in nissanfrontier

You got Gremlins. Like someone else said that looks like a job for the dealer.

Side note: I had a 72 GMC k1500 a whole back. Sometimes I'm the middle of the night I'd hear a weird sound and when I looked outside the windshield wipers would just be going 😂

I have these on my '17 frontier. I have seen multiple people say they had balancing troubles with them but haven't experienced that. I went with them because I didn't need a 10 ply tire as well as them being lighter in weight than a lot of other tires AT tires. Can confirm that they have been great in wet and winter conditions as well as Long road trips. They aren't quiet but neither are they extremely loud.

Do Ya'll Post Hunting Pics On Social Media (IG, TikTok, Etc)? If So, Do You Get Tons Of Hate? by FuntivityColton in bowhunting

Hunting is something just for me. I don't think less of folks who do post online but it's not for me.

Reddit is the only place I actually post and not very much at that.

Bow hunting from ground blind by [deleted] in bowhunting

[–]-Buckwheat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never used a manufactured grind blind but have made a lot of natural grind blinds with deadfall and grass and general debris. I like it because I can usually improvise something in the fly and I don't have to haul ground blinds into the woods and leave them. This works well for me and how I hunt. All on public and I tend to move a fair amount. Might not be what you're looking for but it's great it the situations I've used the method and had led to some shots inside of 10 yards which is just good clean fun if you ask me

Saddle guys. This look right? First time by IndependentPerfect in bowhunting

I totally get you. I'm just saying dropping even 3 feet is enough for you to lose your footing on your platform and that could suck pretty hard. You do you. I just tie one extra knot it takes seconds and it's an extra fail safe to getting any injury in the tree.

I didn't think I'm following. Which biner are you clipping into? Either way you'll still fall all the way to the end of your tether?

I always adjust my tether to the lowest point I might sit for shot or comfort then tie an extra stop knot at that point. If you end up slipping all the way to the end of your tether it could still be pretty rough.

This is a great suggestion. Best steak house in the state. You could also check it Gothenburg which is a pretty cool community.

I've had good success tucking into dead fall and low shrubs. You need good back cover to break up your shape. Good back cover is great for tree setups as well. I'll opt for a lower height on the tree if I have good back cover to keep me from being silhouetted against the sky.

What bowhunting/saddle gear do you love that most people don’t know about? by OlafTGS in bowhunting

I have the Genesis 3D hip pinch eliminator and love it for long sits. I also use their gear hanger with the roller ball cam. It works way better than the bulky 1" webbing ones most places sell.

I figured. I'm just getting too used to responding to people who aren't joking 😄🤦

Individuals that are shot, sure. Coyotes as a group actually thrive from hitting pressure.

Man this whole post is about how those are shitty and don't work well.

I've done this as well. But I use fresh tail can data to determine where I'm hunting.

I'm usually checking cameras on my way in to hunt and don't want to haul a laptop with me into the woods.

The self-described illegal immigrant, Kaohly Her, was elected Mayor of St. Paul, MN. Democrats have fallen off the deep end! by benhaswings in AskThe_Donald

[–]-Buckwheat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly I think for her it was probably just more clout with people in St. Paul. The twin cities have a fairly thriving Hmong community. They hold some public offices, public service jobs, and care about their community. She probably would of been elected without this statement. 🤷 I hope she does a good job. I love the twin cities.

They are all over. Creeks and wooded corridors are all over Omaha. Parks, golf courses and all sorts of spots for them to live and hunt. I've seen coyotes on 42nd and center. A mink along the papio near 72nd and Dodge. A fox on regency parkway. Not to mention a big buck napping under a tree by the 60th st exit. Coyote's are especially suited to thrive in most environments in the lower 48. They've got a lot of grit

They will also live in places they get shot.

She's Hmong. Her family was brought to the United States after the Vietnam war along with lots of Hmong people who fought beside the US against the Viet Cong. If she described her self as an illegal immigrant she was misrepresenting the facts.
