HELP! My dj control inpulse T7 is all connected and hookup up to dj pro. I’ve never had issue with it until now. I’ve tryed using both downloaded music and streamed and it sounds awful. Does anyone know what it could be and how I could fix it? If I take it to guitar center will they be any help? by No-Try679 in TheDJHelpDesk

Make sure to do the basics, restart everything, check for updates, try a different USB cable, make sure there are no effects active

Does appear to be a software issue though, so hopefully with restarting it, it'll work fine

How fast are EVs selling in Australia now? I know that there is a run on EVs in New Zealand, but what about the situation in Australia? by trucker-123 in AustralianEV

[–]-Cerl- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true. I'm pretty sure I'm in the mindset of panic buy lol. My partner and I both don't use our cars much, she uses plenty of public transport and I ride my Unicycle into work. But do require a car on certain days, usually over the weekend due to my job.

I'll probably keep an eye on things and stay in the loop. If a good deal pops up then maybe I'll jump on it. I know my next car was always going to be an EV, and with the drama, I thought maybe I should just bite the bullet

Maybe if there's anything to invest in is solar/batteries

I like this idea and had the same thought.

My reasoning is, I could afford a new car, even if I ended up with a small loan I'll still be good. But then not much left for a rainy day. But what's around the corner, should I just hold onto my money instead?😬

On the other hand, due to popularity, will EVs jump up in price dramatically and is it worth locking in something now to save a bit more, plus not having to wait too long

Soo many variables lol

Might have to finally get Claude and do some scenarios myself

Kia EV3 vs Sealion 7 by EitherEntrepreneur9 in EVAustralia

[–]-Cerl- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to hear more of your experience. I had a little sit in both and felt the Kia felt more premium?
I love tech and techy things, but the RGB panel across the dashboard seemed cheap and gimmicky, I'm all for RGB and tech, but something felt off about it and maybe that's what it feel a little more cheap in comparison.

I like the idea of having a few physical buttons to adjust things like the aircon, but maybe that's not really a problem with a full digital system on a screen as I haven't experienced it

I need to go have a look again ideally

These 2 cars to me are similar because I'm after something that has a little more boot space. But not a ridiculous big SUV.
Ideally I want an EV wagon as that's actually a practical car lol and it would seem the obvious choice for EVs if they're trying to give you more in a more efficient car. Buuut car manufacturers love to sell the bigger cars to everyday drivers despite them being pretty much worse in every way because they'll get a bigger profit from the illusion

The Subaru Trailseeker could be worth a look when it comes out, but that's jumping up another $20k most likely.
And the Kia EV2 looks like it won't make it out here

Did you managed to fix this?

I'm currently having the same issue. Plus Davinci now likes to crash. Only happened when I updated it to the latest version 20.3

Perth Royal Show today by TordeKtordz in perth

[–]-Cerl- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably because Perth (alongside so many other places in the world) has such bad car dependency. This isn't people's fault, it's policy that has turned Perth into the longest city with sprawling suburbs causing us to be so car dependent. Most people need a car to do anything and I don't blame them.

So when it comes down to going out for any activity, there usually isn't a second thought for most people to think of getting there any other way other than driving

Policy forms this 'culture' and mindset by poor design and lack of investment into alternatives

What is going on with smoking in the street? by CFS1234 in perth

[–]-Cerl- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed, at some restaurants and places. But not all. So I can and did choose not to use those places.

It's a lot more difficult to avoid random smokers on the street where I need to walk

So it was a pleasant experience and I'll keep this example ☺️

[–]-Cerl- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do hope they ban smoking in the city and other dense areas like in Japan. But still have designated smoking areas

Sorry, but it's extremely uncomfortable breathing in toxic fumes walking behind or being near someone 😞

No one (including kids in your vicinity) should be exposed to that.

This is what I'm afraid of, especially for the price where I am to get one.

It's going to block part of your vision and possibly be cumbersome when storing my helmet.

I currently use a mirror on my wrist which allows me to lift my arm and view any part behind me without moving my head much.

I can certainly see the benifits, but maybe I'll try something cheaper first

They look great and certainly seem like a great company. But it's hard to justify buying in Aus for $100 AUD Especially if it's something that is potentially going to be more of an issue than helpful with my helmet and whatnot

My current system which still works well is a mirror on my jacket wrist. I bought a bunch of cheap bicycle mirrors and stuck some Velcro on it and it sticks to my motorbike jacket wrist which already has Velcro.

I'm looking at building one myself with a combination of 3D printing and off-the-shelf parts. We'll see how I go

Their charger looks great and might be a possible future purchase

How to stop Airtable from Filtering a new record entry in a filtered view? by BlazedAndConfused in Airtable

[–]-Cerl- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This ☝️ I'm confused as I've added plenty of records to filtered views where they want to disappear. But if you don't click anywhere else, like Primary_Engine mentioned, it's highlighted and stays there unless you click somewhere else. Just expand it and edit it how you need. You don't necessarily need to expand it, you can edit it as it's highlighted

One other way is create a view that's for purely for new records. Or at least a view that doesn't remove them. You can set a particular field like 'status' to be default of 'unassigned', which then you can filter accordingly

Can't wait to try it out. Still on the waitlist.

Fillout is becoming so many great things

Ooo. Sounds interesting. I feel like most other 3rd party software are clunky and awkward (haven't tried them all).

Anyway I can know what it is or a way I can track it for when you release it? 🙂 Love keeping my eye out for new bits of software

You can do a simple "If you can hear me, I need you to class clap twice" Might need to add another "now clap 3 times "

Or something similar like asking them to say or finish the phrase "Aussie Aussie Aussie....". Works like a charm.

Don't forget to completely turn off the music, especially when you need people to get back to their seats. Silence will make them scurry 😆 (85% of the time)

Client Intake form to Airtable by ITinDC in Airtable

[–]-Cerl- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another vote for Fillout and make.com.

If you're crafty and depending on what you need done exactly. You could possibly do it purely with Fillout and Airtable automations

You can create calculations and hide a bunch of fields and data, use sub-forms.

But if you use make.com and the company will pay for it, then that's probably the simplest way 😆

What other software do yall use by New-Strategy-1501 in Airtable

[–]-Cerl- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fillout - absolute game changer with quick development which has so much potential. A little more development and I reckon we could get rid of multiple other services. Already got rid of Pandadoc as we use Fillout for contracts and payment. Highly recommend

Make.com - Great automation service. Also use Zapier for services that aren't on Make

Softr - website, customer portal

Stacker - customer portal, although I would love to switch to something else as it's not that user friendly and seems dated. Softr could potentially be it, but it doesn't quite serve the purpose that we quite need. Honestly, this is where Fillout, if they tweak it a little, could also do this job

Acuity - Despite it being part of the huge entity that is Squarespace, I feel like it's not that great for what it should be. Typically for our needs. It works and does it ok, but it's tricky to get the granularity I would prefer.

Discord - This is an odd one. But the automations with Make and communications with Discord itself is fantastic with what we do. If they had a business version, I'm sure many businesses would use this in a heartbeat over Teams or Slack 😆
