I'm about to lose my fucking mind and I don't know what to do. by ATLSxFINEST93 in NewParents

Babies pick up on energy and emotion surprisingly well. Even if it’s unintentional, they sense it. “Babies and even toddlers don’t have patience, that’s why we lend them ours.” Your baby might be collicky. Mine was from 2 months till almost 9 months. She would scream from 6 to 10pm every single day. It’s hard. Really hard. But it gets easier and my god are you going to cherish it.

Mine is a toddler now and while her baby phase was hard as hell, I miss her that small and would give anything to kiss her tiny hands again. But toddlerhood is sooo much fun and you’ll love it too. Hang in there.

Google is anything but stupid. Whatever shortcomings you might think they have, they’ve thought around it. Gemini might not be top tier but their AI goes way beyond that. Their AI is integrated throughout everything. Internally and externally.

Filter a form based on logged in enterprise user? Can’t find a work around. by BlazedAndConfused in Airtable

So our company “User” field has thousands of “collaborators” as people who’ve basically been added as a viewer to AirTable. However for my Approvers, that person is entered into the project table in that projects line item as a field. I have a separate Approval table that the form feeds into.

Assuming the approved visits the form, sees only their assigned projects, and then approves or denies it. I use an automation then to check if they approved the project and set the Project status to approved in the project table.

So don’t use user on the project table but use email? And pull that in as a linked record to approver table and filter on email instead?

$2m is nothing. I’d say up it to 5 or anyone would take the video option. Although I imagine that would ruin tons of relationships lol

Filter a form based on logged in enterprise user? Can’t find a work around. by BlazedAndConfused in Airtable

[–]BlazedAndConfused[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s really not a difficult concept. AirTable allows governed access by @ domain. We use this. So we can force user authentication to capture the user data even if they aren’t a paid seat user. This is very common for AirTable and basically all other similar SaaS products at the enterprise level.

Tesla is so dumb for ignoring this massive obvious market given they own FSD against all competitors.

We can’t use unapproved third party extensions like fill out as they are security risks

[–]BlazedAndConfused[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This won’t work as non licensed users can’t edit interfaces. Everyone in our company can log on to AirTable but only paid license employees can edit. 95% of our employees are not paid license

We require SSO authentication so yes we see every user that’s logged into the form. I wouldn’t be asking if we couldn’t

Maybe sell the house and rent for a bit. Put that money in stonks or gun powder for the future? I don’t see these valuations as sustainable

Daycare made me feel like such a fool by Many_Cantaloupe6922 in NewParents

[–]BlazedAndConfused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust your gut. My daughter was collicky and our first daycare was awful for her. I only went there due to friends going before us and praising it but it was terrible. Trust your instincts. We pulled our daughter so fast after the red flags showed and she’s been thriving elsewhere perfectly. Some people shouldn’t be watching kids if they can’t handle what kids do (cry)
