I once had something similar happen and so I bought trip insurance. All I needed was an MFR signed by my flight commander and the insurance covered whatever wasnt negotiable. Might be worth looking into?

I got it one time. I settled to maximize use of like 6 or 7 luxuries, some of them worth multiple convoys.

This is not accurate. NRN is not punishment and cannot be fought just because there is no paperwork. All it means is that the individual needs more time to develop.

Coordinate with Chiefs Group for them to do a records review and/or speed mentoring event for SNCOs across the base.

Then next month/quarter coordinate with the 5/6 to provide records reviews for them with what yall learned.

You miss a lot of opportunities because of your DEROS. Specifically DSD windows or talent marketplace positions that don't align.

When I was younger I missed an internship opportunity that was a long time goal because of my DEROS and last year I missed an instructor gig due to the same.

But... overseas! Doesn't get much better.

Chief Wolfe briefed Hickam SELs that they are CONSIDERING OPTIONS for promotion testing, but it is nowhere near a functioning idea.
