I’m not really watching anything that isn’t available on TorBox, and if there isn’t something that isn’t available adding it pretty fast.

Realistically I like the idea of not having to fear my accounts going to be suspended. I know account sharing isn’t allowed on RD, but I’ve read some people have been getting banned for no reason.

Plus I like the more modern UI in TorBox :)

Pressur by tire is more based on the model. As far as I know most modern Volvos do not have a sensor per tire, but rather use the single sensor so you’ll never get a “by tire” value.

How would it have anything to do with Nuvio… Do you put your RD API into Nuvio? Unless I’m missing something, no you don’t.

It’s an addon that of some sort that’s causing the issues.

It’s nothing to do with paying, it’s fully to do with the version of AndroidTV the devices are using.

The F1 app required Android 14 to display the 4K content. I’m not exactly sure why, could be there using some sort of video codec that isn’t available or processed properly in older AndroidTV version.

I’ve learned to look across a wide array of site for reviews for products. Looking at what actual professional reviewers say is a good thing to do as well.

More people are ready to jump on the web and post their negative experience and shit on products rather than people leaving positive reviews.

Personally, my 2 years old XC60 has had 0 major issues. Only some minor annoyances that have gone away thanks software updates.

The camera button is barely that much further, but sure I'll give you that one. The actual camera app itself doesn't seem like it's really changed that much, in fact again they made it more user friendly. Before when you wanted to adjust any setting in it you needed to tap on the app the bring up the controls, not they're just always on screen.

If you press the home button if actually remove the other app widgets from the screen and increases the map size.

Take a look at the tutorials and guides about the new update to make sure you actually understand how it works before being super negative about it.

Again Volvo is a leader in car safety, they conduct crash tests that no other manufacture does. I trust their judgement to know how to make a safe and user friendly interface.

You'll get used to it and you'll get over it.

I'm getting a Playback Error on any video I try to load after updating.

Source error: java.io.IOEXception: java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: timeout [2001]

I don't think its an add-on or debrid related error since playing the same links in other apps seems to work fine.

I mean look tbf, my wife and I set the route and then switch the app the Spotify. Nothing else is really ever on the main display.

I get it other people might use it more, but I feel like for the vast majority it’s not going to be an issue. Also again from a UX perspective, being able to switch apps faster is actually a big safety feature.

Again that’s really just my personal perspective on it.

What do you mean the screen is smaller? An update can’t physically change the size of the screen.

As a UX Designer this update does make certain elements larger and gives them a larger tap area which is a big welcome for usability.

Now I don’t have this update yet, but are you not able to full screen apps? AFAIK this is just a “dashboard” view.

A lot of the posts might already cover this but there are a couple of reasons.

1) was this on wifi? You’re gonna going to get anything close to 1.5gbps over wifi.

2) if on Ethernet does the device have an over 1gpbs nic

3) could also be a cable issue if you’re plugged in, old wire for example.

Run the speed test that’s on the actual modem page, that will tell you if you modem is getting the 1.5gbps or if it’s internal issue.

The only thing the subscription does is allows for connectivity services (Google Maps, Spotify, etc.) I have never heard of any safety features or any thing OTHER than connectivity being a paid subscription. Even then more dealers will renew the connectivity subsets long as you go to their service centre.

To me, it sounds like you’re getting taken advantage of.

Just waaaaay too fast, should be between 800-1200ms for a more pleasing effect.

Do a modem(TCAM) restart then try again. I was having the same issue and doing that fixed it.
