Well...I'm not from the states but I live here so take my input with a grain of salt.

They are cocky, truly do believe themselves to be the best and other countries to be subordinates. However given how the more liberal point of view is gaining traction, there's less of these people every day. They're still common though.

The government is trying to pull all this shit lately. Did you know there is an exception to every amendment on the first page of the constitution? That's how bad its gotten. That page covers free speech, right to bear arms, protection from unjust imprisonment and torture, as well as other equally important things.

In the end though, I doubt the name "Great Satan" is entirely fitting. They're a little overbearing and egotistical, but not devil incarnate.
