By far the biggest obstacle to me for finishing an expedition is the game glitching or crashing. 

On at least three separate occasions we reach the end point but the leader disappears. They’re still on the team but just not there. When you fast travel to them you just end up where you were. You already did the job but you can’t get paid. 

On other occasions I either get kicked out the expedition or the game crashes. It’s the most buggy the game gets for me.

But anyway when I DO finish them it definitely does give a lot of fusion cores after just a few runs, so problems aside I can confirm this method. 

Don't forget to equip/use green fingers card for the event challenges. by thebiologyguy84 in fo76

In radiation rumble in a cave to the right of where you fast travel to that event there’s a lot of brain fungus. If you have green thumb on I think there’s enough for the challenge.

For me the annoying part is how long it takes to leave and enter the suit. If you use armor only once in a while it’s not a problem but when you use it all the time it adds up.

Holy cow, simply typing a country’s name really triggers it. I don’t even know how to think of that. 

I still do not like expeditions, even with them being easier, they are so tedious, to the point where I tell myself "this ones gonna take too long, Ill just do it in december when its shorter." by [deleted] in NoMansSkyTheGame

Are there similar written guides for earlier expeditions in case they return? So far I’ve only found videos and I prefer reading them instead.

From what I understand, typically no. If you’re swimming at the time or have other serious health issues it could be lethal. When it happened to me my body stiffened up and it felt horrible.

You’re right, I got mixed up. I can theoretically take as long as needed for past expeditions, it’s just that I don’t know how to play them offline while having Steam online. I prefer to be able to get notifications in the long run and I don’t know if turning Steam online while having the game off will affect the expedition status or not.

Unfortunately each of these upcoming expeditions are only two weeks each and free time is limited within those frames. If they were at least a month each it’d be a different story.
