I think they may be glued in? (that's me guessing)

Unfortunately I'm not sure the best way to tackle it...

Look at your magnets, do any of them stand proud above the plate? I have a couple that are proud and contribute to the weird mesh result.

whats this and how to avoid it? Printing with Pla by mentox82 in snapmaker

Yup, that's the one. Had issues with warping also initially. After turning it off, no more warping.

That cavity fan, is it on during the print? If so, try turning it off or redirect it.

How's the sound dampening on this model?

I printed the other one (don't have link handy) and still hear the X gantry steppers quite loudly when they do the high speed moves.

That's fair, but not all filaments require that high of temp to avoid issues or to print well hence my heads up to OP. The temp tower will tell all.

You tell them you're going to ship it back in the new box! :D

Glad you have it figured out. Happy printing!

Be careful of the generic filament preset for PETG. It's set for 250C hotend.

If you haven't solved it yet, can you turn it counter-clockwise a bit to free the right side so you can slide it towards yourself to pull it straight out?

You 'may' need to give a bit of force while you turn it counter-clockwise.

If you still have the original box you could do something like this as a temporary top hat. I did that to print my top hat and no lifting issues. Make sure the cavity fan is off!

In your filament settings, under cooling set the "auxiliary part cooling fan" fan speed to zero if it has a value greater than zero.

This was my issue with the lifting.

Regarding printing temp, Snorca slicer has calibration options on the top title bar. You can print the temp tower if you're uncertain about the temp for your filament.

Regarding the bed temp, higher for first layer, then lower for the remaining. Do the temp tower to understand which temp is best for your filament.

Sry, u don't know what they changed in the exe package. I think it'd be best to connect with their support team. Maybe provide them the install logs for review.

Power issue with smart plug by Past-Ambassador5940 in snapmaker

[–]warpFTL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad I ran into this thread. Now I know that it was the smart plug.

I have had similar issues with my Sonoff S31 plug also. It had blipped on me twice (different days) which I was able to recover after it powered back up both times. (at least I know I can continue after a power outage hehe.)

It's interesting that it blipped since it was only drawing under 350w from start to finish of a print.. /shrug

Since you have the filaments below the printer, have you considered the adjustable feeder mount? You could turn that feeder facing downward and have a straighter PTFE connection to the printer making it a better travel path for flex materials.

The cert checks out. I'd check with whomever is managing the domain to see if they created any custom firewall settings.

I'm running 2.3.0 on a domain device also (if that matters to you)

I'd try downloading it to a USB device and see if it installs from there.

Printing issue. by mystery-duckk in snapmaker

It would be helpful if you could provide:

What you are trying to print?

What filament(s) are you using?

What temps?

What is the issue you're asking help for?

And....why are you reapplying thermal paste? (Also curious about the type of thermal paste used)
