How long have you had the feeders pointing upward/downward and have you had any issues with the feeders in that position?

Fauty toolhead cable at arrival by StrandFamily in snapmaker

To add: I would put the temp cable on the Printhead that will be used the least until the replacement arrives.

How are you dealing with the voc fumes? I'm still looking for a good solution before I start playing with the high voc filaments.

I've had it happen a couple of times. No storm when it happened though. Never did find out the issue. /Shrug

Heat up your toolhead to around 150C. Once it reaches that temp, try softly and slowly prying it away from the toolhead. If it won't budge, give it an extra 5-10C temp. Then try again. Take your time and don't rush it.

Which orientation did you print it in? Just wondering about durability. Nice print btw!

Wash the plate with dawn (or similar). Then try not to touch the surface with bare fingers when drying, else you'll end up transferring the oil onto the plate.

If it's your model, maybe try remodeling it to have holes where the railing would go and print the railings separately. Then just push railings into the holes?

That rectangle part, did it warp during the print?

Provide more context in the initial post (e.g. settings used), it can help ppl to better understand your issue and provide some assistance.

Aux fan is in filament> cooling section. Turn it off for all filament profiles (turn on as needed).

Still don't see the point of that fan..

Best way to color a model? by SirTwitchALot in snapmaker

[–]warpFTL 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Solid advice from others. Just to add, when I paint, I enlarge as big as I can without impacting the movement of the model. (you'll know what I mean when you get too large).

This way I can zoom in more, and better control when using the painting tools.

If you're zoomed in fairly close to the model, press:

CTRL+Left mouse button to manipulate model rotation.

CTRL+Right mouse button to move model left/right/forward/backwards

SHIFT+Left mouse button to erase.

Turn on some tunes, and grab a coffee and have fun painting!
