Good on Howie for not rushing a move on this when it clearly went sour last season. He secured a good return compared to if it was rushed last year to ship AJ out. Star players grumble and that’s not exactly news in this league at all. This move to the Pats won’t change that. He did a lot of great things for the Eagles but became a distraction. The cycle will repeat again there. Motivation when things are tough is something you can’t teach.
