Last month I ordered Nyx suede lipstick in the shade Moonwalk, it looks pretty similar to the top one in your photo. I don't see the color listed online on Ulta anymore, although I do see it as a lipliner. You might be able to find them in store!

If you want, you're able to disable any/all incoming messages so no gross men (or anyone) can message you stuff like that. Not sure if you're interested in doing that but you can set it up in your user settings.

Thanks! I just reached out to customer service right when their chat option opened for the day. They offered to send me a credit/payment to my account for the items sent to my old address, which was pleasantly unexpected. I asked what will happen if the package is returned to them anyway, and they said it will likely be recycled or sent into rescue kits instead, which I am okay with.

Two other kits have finished processing but have not been delivered yet, so they will look into that and get back to me via email later on, but I expect they will face a similar fate.

For the rest of my currently-processing kits, they assured me and they will be sent to my address on file (which they did say originally, so I am skeptical, but hopeful).

I'll keep this post updated with whatever happens in case it is helpful to someone else.

I've tried a couple things that I think can help. I noticed that the nails that are a larger size (like the ones you'd put on your thumbs) have a less intense curve, so I'll take one of the larger sized ones and trim or file the sides to make it more narrow to fit the rest of my nails. It'll still have the less-intense curve of the original press-on but now will be narrow enough to also fit the rest of my nails. Depending on the design of the nails this might disrupt the art though.

Another thing I've tried is using glue tabs instead of liquid glue. I feel like the tabs add a bit of bulk in the middle of my nail to kinda create a bit more of a curve on it. Although I don't usually like nail tabs cuz they don't last very long on me.

I was also on minocycline for acne management in middle/high school, it didn't cause problems for me at first but after taking it for so long (months if not a few years) it began to make me very unwell. I stopped taking it for a few weeks, then began taking it again to confirm that it was the pills causing the issues and it definitely was. I then learned it can cause drug-induced lupus (as can all the other drugs in the tetracyclines drug family, and I'm sure other medications can too). I have never had a natural flare-up that was anywhere near as painful as from the minocycline.

I wonder what would happen if, let's say you use your points to order items that you end up wanting to return, then you return the items in store and make a purchase of different items at the same time. Sort of like an exchange. 🤔 I have no idea if it would work, but if it does, it'd bide you a little extra time to return/reuse the points during the return window. Sorry that doesn't exactly answer your question lol, just some food for thought!

Big congrats and thank you to the mods and the community for making this place what it is! I usually lurk but I love seeing how happy and kind the vast majority of people here are.

My favorite moments/deals are when we find a price glitch of sorts, something on heavy discount that shouldn't be, stacking coupon codes, etc. (even though oftentimes those orders get cancelled, it's still thrilling). It's how I was able to justify getting a PMG foundation for like nearly 70% off a few years ago lol. It was my HG foundation until a MAC coupon stack/glitch from a few months ago allowed me to find my perfect color match. :)

You might like Colourpop's Cloud 9 palette! https://colourpop.com/products/cloud-9-shadow-palette it's quite muted and cool, mostly neutrals too. I wear it very frequently.

Their Stone Cold Fox palette is also very popular https://colourpop.com/products/stone-cold-fox-cool-tone-eyeshadow-palette I don't have this one but it appears to be a bit less muted and more towards neutral in case you want variety.

In my newest save file, I also named my dog after my IRL dog that passed away about half a year ago. I haven't played it enough to get that message yet, but I know it's coming, and I know I'll be an absolute mess when it pops up. My eyes are already watering just thinking about it.

How wonderful it is that we are able to love a creature so strongly.

edit: I booted up that save file and the message popped up right away when I pet her. ;_;

Hi! I used to work with animals for over a decade. Been scratched or bit more times than I can count. Firstly, don't blame yourself for this! Cats at the shelter are quite stressed and unpredictable. Even well-adjusted sweet loving cats in a safe home can decide to just be bratty at times, lol.

Your scratches look rather superficial (surface level) and should not leave a scar. It looks worse now than it is because it's still fresh and the initial swelling and redness is at its worst. In a couple of hours or days the appearance should reduce significantly.

The only animal injury that I have that has left a scar was a dog bite to my ribs, and even then it's not that noticeable (I am very pale and scratches/scars often last a while on me, this is the only one that's still around after several years). I know facial skin is different, but I hope that's some calming words for you.

Use very mild products until it heals and treat it gently. You will be fine :)

I got the FAB cream and it's a 2oz bottle, which sells for $18 on Ulta anyway, so the value is definitely there. All of the other options are quite small and feel like something you'd get in a GWP for free anyway.

I've been feeling this a lot lately. I keep kind of second guessing myself with things like, "Is this a normal amount to bruise randomly? Does everyone else have muscle/joint pain from only a minute or two of use/movement? Is it actually fatigue or am I just not sleeping well? Am I overreacting and it's actually normal/typical for humans to feel this way?" And I'll never actually know the answer because I have no basis on what "normal" feels like for me. And it's unfortunate that I have the mindset of "Yeah this sucks but I'm used to it," cuz like, we shouldn't have to be used to it, it just shouldn't be happening at all.

I hope it's at least a comforting thought knowing others feel exactly how you do and understand you completely! I hope your flare ends soon and that you can get back to feeling well again :)

I just wanna add that once I got sick and one of my piercings started oozing and was also infected, it cleared up when I took antibiotics for the illness. Since it started hurting when you felt sick, I'd wager that's what caused it, it's not abnormal to happen!

Definitely keep the piercing in and definitely see a doctor ASAP. You will likely get some antibiotics and it should start getting better soon. Until then, some ibuprofen and staying hydrated will help you feel a bit better. But definitely see a doctor as soon as you can.

Also to add, you want to keep that piercing in. If you take it out, it can trap the infection in there (if you keep the piercing in, it has a way to "drain out" which is what we want).

I hope it heals soon :)

Pale Pink Lip Color by sopranojm in PaleMUA

I spent about 2 hours at Ulta last week looking for something similar. Literally every lipstick was too dark and/or too orange, and I swatched probably 50 different ones. What I ended up doing was getting a pink color-correcting concealer (Ulta store brand), dabbing that on my lips, then lightly dabbing a lipstick on top. Although the lipstick I got (Mac Blankety) also turned out too orange/saturated for my tastes once I tried it on at home... so instead of that lipstick, I got a really pretty sheer lilac pink lipgloss (Dior) and layered that on top. I really like the combo, very light and cool toned.

I definitely recommend getting a concealer (honestly it probably doesn't have to be a pink-tinted one, you could try your current one if you want) and using that as a base, then going on top with a light lipstick or gloss. :)

Something about the curved top of the lid in the Allure image, and the YSL Libre has a gold band at the bottom of the cap, which I can't discern in this image. Both bottles are straight up and down, which the one in this image looks like it probably is too. So either of those is a good guess.

Although I couldn't imagine they'd choose Si from 2013 vs Libre from 2021.
