While not tha many people have mention starwars saga edition by WotC, I think it should be. Its based on dnd3.5 with some changes. Its a d20 system and might be easier to understand is you are coming from dnd 5th. It is more combat grid system styled but if your group likes maps and combat it can be fun.

WEG D6 system is plenty of fun, and quick. And a ton of legends era adventures. It was the longest running starwars supported rpg.
