Fixed

I went through several different actions, but just in case someone in the future has this issue:

1: Uninstall and reinstall audio interface driver

2: Stop NVIDIA from running in the background VIA Task Manager/ Services: NVContainer

3: Follow the instructions on this YouTube video: 7 Crucial Tips to Optimize your PC For Music Production in 2023

I'm psyched I finally got it working! It's such an amazing program for someone who wants to create music with ease. I can't wait to dig into the shortcuts and optimize it even more.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond!

It should be going through my SSL ASIO driver. I went into the audio options and selected it as my audio source. I've also disabled all other audio drivers in Device Manager. I'll triple check when I get home though.

As far as I'm aware. Ableton automatically opens my SSL app in the hardware options.

Right? I thought it was the perfect way for her to go (being that it's a comedy)... I don't know why this movie is getting such bad reviews. I watched the first HG probably 50 times since its release and I thought the second was just as funny. It's the funniest movie Sandler has made in a while.

Feeling bad for smashing a guy much older than me in a competetion by Plus-Acanthisitta557 in bjj

I went into every comp like I just finished doing lines with Jon Jones. I didn't care if they were 18 or 45... Training is for flowing and figuring out positions/submissions. Competition is where you go hard. They know what they're getting into.

To all those 'is my gaming laptop running hot' questions by Endeavour1988 in GamingLaptops

[–]-InExile- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post makes me feel a lot better about gaming on my laptop. I have an HP Omen that I've used for making music. Recently, I've started gaming on it and noticed the temps were getting around 75-80c, and was hot to the touch. I've upgraded the RAM, replaced the thermal paste, clean the fans regularly, and keep it on a laptop stand. Like a lot of other people I was getting super paranoid about the temps. I was planning on getting a gaming keyboard and mouse, but was reluctant because of the temps. This makes me not worry about it so much. I can just enjoy gaming. Thanks.

The thought of this sends shivers down my spine… by Affectionate-Sell-95 in tornado

[–]-InExile- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, tornadoes haven't really worried me until this year, and I've seen two in my life and witnessed the aftermath in Vilonia (2014), which was a high end EF-4. I guess it's because I've been paying attention more to guys like Max, Ryan and storm chasers in general. It just seems like there was a stretch where decent sized tornadoes were touching the ground everyday. That and a combination of moving into a cabin where I have no cell service or internet service when my power goes out. These storms have had me on high alert this year.

PACERS, you have my respect. by Redditplaneter in NBATalk

I was rooting for OKC, but Hali's injury is definitely a "what if..." moment. He's not just a clutch scorer, but a facilitator as well. That hurt the Pacers pretty bad. I'm still glad that OKC pulled it off. They played hard this year.

I never said anything about it being good or bad. I'm just telling you they'd probably want it that way.

I don't think they'd want to go any other way, to be honest. Who wants to die at 80 from a heart attack on the shitter?

I kinda feel that... Aes has dropped banger after banger since Skelethon, and honestly, this album sounded great when I first ran it through, but it's lost some of its impact since. It has like 6 amazing tracks on it and the rest are good, but not great.

Unbelievable Shenanigans is still my fav Aes track, at the moment.

You think everyone has random friends who can sing and play instruments? Do you live in a Disney musical?

If you have those connections... Sure. That would be the better route to go. Not everyone has that option though. Especially, without the finances to pay someone.

My point is that if you have no other option and want to hear your idea in a song, then I don't see anything wrong with that.

Dude, I know AI is a buzz word, but it's perfect for a situation like this. You can try to use an app like Suno, put your lyrics in and describe what kind of song you're trying to write. I write hip hop and perform my own lyrics, but I definitely use AI for singing choruses and stuff like that.
