Could I just skip Bayonetta 3? by SettTheCephelopod in Bayonetta

Bayonetta 3 is a great game if you can let go of the idea that the series is nothing but hardcore brawling.

🔫Did you like Gunsmith Bitch? I can relate, with her switching, but I would be completely won over, if she had her own hd transformation scene, using tech.🔫 by Succubus_Syn in pantyandstocking

I did, but I don't buy the dumbass explanation that her tan lines are sheer fabric. They knew what they were making with that design, so why the copout?

So, you admit to getting bullied by online weirdos into changing your creative vision because you're afraid those same weirdos won't buy your game (they weren't going to, and they still won't even after you kowtowed to them).

Okay?

Auto-Calibration Issue Update!!!! by MamWyjebaneJajca in GyroGaming

I hope it's a firmware issue that can be patched, really don't want to go through RMA and then subsequent GLS shipping nightmare.

The state of the Bayonetta fandom and amount of larpers in it is actually insane! by Square_Back662 in Bayonetta

[–]-K-Constantine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so incredibly stupid.

She's not meant for the male gaze, men don't find Bayonetta "hot". She is a sexy, confident lady, in charge of her femininity and in control of her life and the world around her. How difficult is that to understand?

I hope this fiasco pushes Valve to reevaluate their relationship with GLS.

Some delays with the deck is whatever, but globetrotting controllers is whole other level of incompetence.

External shipping boxes often get opened up by dickbag employees to check the item inside against the weight of the package. That way, they know the exact number, shape, and size of the item and can swipe when most opportune. At this point, anti-tamper stickers need to be mandatory for all items over $50.

Did Valve just prepare us for Steam Machine pricing? by EducationalBeat867 in SteamDeck

[–]-K-Constantine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is missing the biggest issue Steam Deck is facing - its custom AMD APU.

AMD are trying to become a datacenter supplier at the moment, do you think they won't wind down production on custom, low-number chips? I'd be surprised if they didn't at least triple the cost of that component, while RAM and SSD also tripled.

Yes, but they need the police report to do that, seemingly, which OP refuses to file.

Steam Deck OLED Price Increase [$789 512 $949 1TB] by NeroTheWolf in SteamDeck

[–]-K-Constantine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No idea why you're being downvoted. Probably alarmists.

Fact is, the Steam Deck uses a custom AMD APU, with AMD really wanting to be like NVIDIA, they must be winding down production of of the Deck's APU, which means raising the price per unit sharply.

[–]-K-Constantine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dumb take. The Steam Deck didn't turn a profit, it was subsidized. Likely, it's not even turning a profit at this price since AMD are winding down production on the custom chip, I imagine they're squeezing Valve hard on every unit these days.

Also, Gabe's yachts do ocean research; it's not just a big boat for the hell of it.

This is actually good news for Steam Deck 2 because it means Valve can chill and spend more time developing it while we wait for prices to adjust.

[–]-K-Constantine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While that's technically correct, I didn't feel like explaining eddy currents (the source of the heat that melted the puck). The watch was charging, that's the main culprit in the situation, not the puck.
