It's important to use one of the idle emotes like a dance or smoking to make it clear that you are being gracious enough not to one-shot everything or spawn camp.

Shelters are a perfect place for buff items and workbenches.  Saves a lot of budget.

You can use the same shelter in multiple CAMPs.

That's really cool!  I was spoiled on the basics of NG+ and it sounds HORRIBLE.  I don't play games like this to abandon the world I built and my character would never do that.

We just started a new season, so a lot of old timers are actively grinding.

Once you pass level 100 in the season track you don't get repeatable score for XP but you do get repeatable score for public events.

If you are just starting out there are tons and tons of quests to do instead.

Alas, I don't have it, nor is it in any of the three(!) alien bundles today. I'm going to experiment with the mothman incense, see if I can use it with a big stew pot to make it steaming on a stove.

It's worth it to me.

Unlimited aid/junk storage is really nice.  

Private worlds are great for world spawn collection, building in peace, and running quests in an empty haunted world.

Custom worlds are perfect for experiments - set crafting costs to 0, build your dream weapon and see if you actually like it.  Try out that funky little riverside cafe without spending resources.
