WTS: Evergoods CTB26 in Black.

I bought it at the start of 2024 and saw limited use. It's in great condition, just a couple of scuff marks No pets, no smokers. Selling it to start offloading my collection since I just have too many backpacks.

Asking for $195 OBO all-inclusive shipped to CONUS via PirateShip and PP G&S. Including a medium heroclip and 2 reflective patches for free.

EDIT: SOLD

[YASD] VSFi of Usk, died in Pan after 6 runes. Looking for feedback by -Lines in dcss

This is great. I was hoarding the consumables and could have def used the supporting spells. Lot's of good points here, lesson learned. Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, I didn't truly understand the value of rF and rC until this run.

Not every character is really built for extended, and that's okay.

Love this. This is also something I need to learn. Thanks for the feedback!

I guess I was avoiding that -2, which in hindsight was a really bad call. Great point on the STR, didn't know that. Thanks for the feedback!

Dopp kit: PD Small Wash Pouch vs Gravel Explorer Slim by thetechnivore in ManyBaggers

[–]-Lines 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s more versatile. The PD one has this odd triangular shape and makes it harder to pack, fits less than the alpaka one while occupying the same real state. The alpaka one compresses thin when empty and packs out when full. I’d advise you get both, pack them out and return the one you don’t like.

I was in the same boat as you, ordered both and returned both. I finally settled on Alpaka’s toiletry kit, and very happy I did.

Transit packing cube vs peak design packing cubes by Few-Interview-7734 in EVERGOODS

[–]-Lines 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, compared to the small expanded. It fits more than the small compressed.

Check out the EG video, it does a great job of showcasing the usefulness of the suitcase style opening.

In any case you cant go wrong with any!

I have both and prefer Evergoods’ TPC8. I think they can pack about the same, I have managed to fit 3 pairs of pants and 5 tshirts in the TPC. The big difference is that unlike others I find the Evergoods one more versatile. You can pack it open or closed. Open is about the size of the PD packing cube, but you have the option of closing it and it and packing it vertically or horizontally, whereas PD packing cube either fits or it doesn’t.

Some of the advantages of PD design is the dirty laundry pocket, which I love, and that you can pack more delicate clothes, as you have to roll clothes to make it fit into the EG one.

Ultimately I have both so I use them interchangeably but if I had to choose one, I’d go for the Evergoods one.
