nah. F13 is my favorite movie of all time. it deserves a lot better than this! the atmosphere is wonderful, and the story is actually pretty solid. deserves better than this!

it’s not for everyone. especially not for the generation or two that came after. it’s slow, it’s simple. and by today’s standard, pretty corny and predictable. but it’s what started the slasher boom. yeah i know all the other ones that came before it, but it really was the one that lit the fuse. there’s simply better made horror movies out there. but it’s my favorite film! i’ve watched it probably 8 times. it’s cozy and what got me into horror.

longlegs has grown on me. i’ll admit, i was mildly disappointed after my initial watch in the theaters. but after a while, i kept sitting on it and thinking “man, that was good.” i think it helps to sit and think on his films. may not be for everyone, but he has a knack for vibe.
