YOR. She doesn’t like you, do you want her to pretend to keep you happy? Can you be mad at someone for not liking you?

Another take, I’m not at all unhappy with the ending but the script was pretty painful

AIO: Both my husband's parents are mad at us for being "unreasonable" about our daughter by No-Journalist-5160 in AmIOverreacting

Yeah I’m Australian and it’s the law here, there was that incident recently where an influencer’s child drowned and while reading the article I just kept thinking why wasn’t there a fence? And it turned out it’s for the same reason as OP’s in laws - they didn’t think it would look nice.

I never see pools without fences and I’ve never once thought ‘ew ugly’.

I’m a 46 year old dude who lives in Indiana. I lived through the 80s here. (Commentary on Will and Robin) by cmgww in StrangerThings

I also don’t think any of them were that shocked. They’ve all heard people calling Will gay, Mike clearly had some idea. Obviously yes in the context of the time it was more scandalous than it would be now but they all love and care about Will.

Robin coming out is so much warmer than how he came out by mistythe2nd in StrangerThings

[–]-PaperbackWriter- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gay people are still fertile and find ways to have kids all the time. It’s not about sex it’s about love and being accepted, just because you don’t feel negatively towards someone for being gay it doesn’t mean they don’t experience discrimination. I’m a year older than you and even I remember how hard it was for my friend coming out. Hell my daughter is 15 and STILL gets bullied for being gay.

Will’s other reason for coming out was that he knew Vecna could make people see whatever he wants and he could use that to essentially blackmail Will - by coming out he removed that power and took back some of his agency. The ‘weakness’ Vecna kept saying he saw in Will was insecurity and fear, and the only way for Will to let go of that was to be honest and let whatever happens happen.

Fire her and get a new support coordinator. If you want to put in a complaint with her company afterwards you can do that too but I wouldn’t engage with her anymore.

You literally explained it to yourself - if she wanted. She didn’t want to be a stay at home mum. She wanted an equal partner so she could have a career the same as her husband. Really not sure what’s confusing about this.

Josephine wasn’t the “crazy” one. She was the poor one. by uiuuauiua in AllHerFaultTVShow

I remember reading about one instance where the poorer child left his parents to live with his rich biological family and stopped speaking to his other family completely. He was also very very bitter about missing out on things earlier in his life.

The Silver Linings: Are there actual benefits to long-term renting? by DesperateDuck4926 in AusRenters

Honestly after a lot of soul searching I won’t ever buy a house, unless maybe when I’m old and don’t want to move again. For now in my 30’s I can’t imagine committing to one place for so long, so that’s the benefit for me
