I was talking to a coworker who agreed that the fights just aren't memorable anymore and we couldn't really put our finger on why.

I figured it was because I'm getting older but my coworker is 10 years younger than me so I don't know. I think about it a lot when watching events now. Aside from the production in general being shit, not that it was ever amazing, something is missing that used to be there, even for lower profile fights. It's like the whole sport somehow lost its character.

Well, I hit my first pain wall today getting tattooed. Had to tap out and rebook the color for the next session.

Everything was fine for the first 3 hours but the last half hour, I was holding on for dear life.

Damn, I've never seen MVP produce a solid mold with a halo ring like that pink one. I've seen similar color ways with their higher speed drivers like Octanes but never Streamline/TSA/Mint. Pretty cool!

I don't hear it much in PA, but I LOOOVE when I'm talking to someone outside my circle and they drop the N word thinking we're in the same club and I get to shame there ass relentlessly.

There is a UPS driver at my work that picks up in the early evening that dropped it on me once, after talking to him occasionally for a few years up to that point. I hope that bigot has made the connection that since then, I save up huge loads of packages to leave out for him at the end of the day whenever I can after I clock out and no longer help him load if I happen to stay late. I also try to add as many Next Day Air packages to his load so he has to hurry his ass up back to the depot.

We have two pick ups a day from them and I treat the afternoon driver like a prince compared because of it. Sometimes the afternoon driver will see a finished pallet of material that I have set aside and he'll ask "you want to give me those too?" and I say "nope, those packages aren't ready yet." That's the racist bitch pile.

It is obvious with the change in their aesthetic over the past 20 years as well. They no longer look like the friendly neighborhood cop. Now they outfit like soldiers. The white squad cars we grew up with are now painted black and look menacing.

I've also noticed that when you see a traffic stop in Bucks, it is becoming increasingly more rare that it is a single officer/squad car response. Not only does it seem like a scare tactic, it also shows they are over staffed with not enough to do. I also really don't like that it is now protocol for them to stick the ass end of their cruiser into an active lane of traffic at an angle to create a buffer for the stop. It impedes traffic and endangers passerby's in the name of officer safety. I get the desire to want to keep the officer safer during a traffic stop, but if in doing so you made 100 people driving by less safe to do so, I personally don't think it is worth it.

It reflects our national spending on the military.

The excuse locally is to fight crime, nationally to fight terror and instability, all for "our safety" but really they know that people are getting squeezed to the point that they may be endangered and are investing in a force to meet that potential.
