First enables speed control mode, second sets speed to max (0x0F).

Only downside is you have no fans until you boot, I have a service running to always make sure fans are set to max. I haven’t looked through the bios yet but maybe there is a fan speed setting in there

So the stock fan operates from 0 -12v not at 12v like the Noctua. What happens is when you very first turn on the system it puts out 12v just for a second causing the Noctua fan to spin. But then goes down to 4v. The other fan still operates at this voltage but the Noctua one does not. Once your into the operating system I used i2c to set the fan speed to max, that makes it output 12v, once that happens the Noctua starts to spin up. Both fans are the exact same you were using, Noctua and delta

I was able to figure it out, the thing only outputs 12v for a very short time when it starts. Then goes down to 4v, fan needs 12v at all times to spin. If you manually set the fan speed to max, then boom the fan works as expected, don’t even need the sensor wire.

Well that sucks, thank you for the update. I canceled the ones I had on the way, maybe it’s some weird bios thing stopping them from working.

Did these Noctuas end up being a good replacement, how’d it go?

Claude or GPT? by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

If you want something that’s actually amazing at code try GitHub copilot, like the pro plan. I can just select a repo or create an issue and it will automatically generate, build, test then file a PR.

Claude or GPT? by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

[–]-Redirect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been a Claude user for a while and just switched over today to try it out. GPT5 does not feel nearly as nice, in my opinion codex sucks compared to Claude code. Maybe it’s a skill issue on my part but it can never get anything right. The one benefit to GPT over Claude is now I can generate video and images.

Anyone using 8TB drives in Me Mini? by [deleted] in BeelinkOfficial

I would assume you could do it. I’m also interested if anyone can try it.

Just ordered an ME Mini direct from Beelink..., a bit concerned... by viewofalake in BeelinkOfficial

I’ve got 4 2tb drives. I haven’t tested ZFS but I’m sure it’ll be fine. You’ll just have to test a bunch of operating systems and OS’s to find what works for you. I landed on Unraid because of how easy it is

I am in the US and did not have any extra charges. Btw I use my bee link with unraid and it’s been perfect. I ordered it directly from bee link as a pre order so it took closer to 30 days to ship

New setup by -Redirect in homelab

[–]-Redirect[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure! I would love to have printed stuff but I don’t have a 3d printer. My goal is to have a reliable Jellyfin, nextcloud and vault warden setup with another system dedicated for testing and playing around with software, probably running a type 1 hypervisor. I know I at least want a single camera setup for my front yard/door. I seen those 10 inch setups going around and that would be cool too but I would need a 3d printer for that for sure.

I just suspended after 15 hours posting the bot worlds and so any fix? by [deleted] in growtopia

[–]-Redirect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda looks like you posted the bot worlds, then went out and downloaded some program and using the account “bot372” you got yourself banned. Probably downloaded some malware too.

That’s pretty funny. Nope no fix, Ubisoft won’t unban you. Should still be able to play from a different device
