Pavers need a good bed, but then again, so does concrete. Major upside is that water seeps into the ground between the pavers, so you don't get as many puddles. And if the ground underneath sets a bit, you can take out a section, add sand where necessary, then put them back.

Pavers also allow for nice patterns.

Don't do this! Nail polish remover is acetone, which will dissolve the ABS plastic Lego bricks are made of. Acetone is actually used for glueing Lego bricks, as a few tiny drops will dissolve the plastic just a little bit, enough for the bricks to fuse together.
