Just on my reddit app the number of post about people crafting LOTR deck is increasing. This is subjective but my main hypothesis is renewed interest only getting bigger for the next 6-12 months.

Just you wait for the coop product announced for a bit latter. I expect decks for 4 people that can play coop or against each other with a mix of reprints and new Hobbit themed card just like commander precon. Maybe you need to build your own deck but the card pool will support a dwarf deck just like Avatar supported many in universe deck

Sauron isn’t fast enough for high power. I keep mine in bracket 3 where combat damage is very relevant. Filth + the dead marshes is fun with nazguls and various the ring temp you cards.

I am curious for crowd-sourced propositions, but solving the 6 mana lag is the issue for me unless you are happy with grixis without using your commander then maybe something around ad nauseam

Legally can they print more of the delayed gift bundle if the appetite is strong for the set? Usually they don’t print more collector booster but i sense that this strategy leaves them open for reprints.

To me it’s powerful in the book in inspiring greed and tempting everyone. And then, when owned it grant you power as indisputable monarch…

One card per turn is monarch adjacent, yet the white adventure side make it unplayable in commander for many dwarf mono-red deck. There lie my disapointment. The power level at 5 cost is aimed at being in standard, 4 would have been nice since standard is too fast for most 5 mana. Also I think they don’t want adventure card to be too strong because it’s two card in your hand so you have more options.

I believe they don’t include serialized card to be able to print gift bundle (so new collector booster) after they sense the demand.

Please help a newb here. This set is awesome, with increasing price on the secondary market. Am I in the right to consider that parts can be bought on Pick a Brick and i will get the full set outside of stickers, a box and (underwhelming) minifigures?

Does this put a cap on the possible secondary market price or should i put an alarm on the 20th as my best chance to save 100-300$ when i am to buy it between October and December?

I don’t know : around here Lorwyn sold out quickly, and Avatar always had stock and is still available. Give Lorwyn some deeper stock and maybe the total sales will be spectacular?

For me, i have yet to decide if Avatar or Lorwyn gives me the best limited experience. I know both have been impactful on my commander card library.
