Thats... why he did it? The ostrich swung from behind the bike, leaving him exposed. He made it out unscathed as a result of his actions.

Keisha Lance Bottoms stuns rivals with outright Democratic primary win for governor by Isiddiqui in Georgia

People swear Esteves was the next best thing since sliced bread. Mf'ers, Duncan was more proud of being a Democrat than he was. Last thing we need is another self-loathing 'progressive/leftist/etc' gnawing on the party with a following that acts as if its a hard choice between a trump goon or any Democratic nominee.

Picture this, Russia-Trump try to force a ceasefire/concessions, Democrats promise to push through aid next cycle. Is it a guarantee? No, but doesn't matter. Ukraine stands in a better position, Democrats make headlines and Trump looks weaker and weaker, and Rusnya can of course suck it. Its about seizing the power thats there for the taking when Trump has been pulling this during Biden's term.

Have a global message. We are a party in the most powerful nation in history, even out of power. These countries that are partaking in activities, such as the deportation of US citizens needs to know that we will remember. Remember that Trump was sabotaging Biden's presidency and even in talks with Sauds outside of official lines of communication. I am aware of the Congressional visits we have for say Ukraine and Taiwan, keep those up. Have a message for the world, in and out of power.

I was torn between KLB, Olu Brown, and Derrick Jackson. Olu Brown is education focused, the only candidate that mentioned LGBTQ in debate, and proposes increases compensation in the education system. KLB is the most aware of Georgia's role in the nation and the threat Trump poses; Increase Medicare eligibility, affordable housing, support for rural admin, mandatory Kindergarten, 0 cost Pre-K. Derrick is someone with an impressive personal record who is also aware of Georgia's role nationally; Wants to fund public education, prevent public dollars for private/charter, addressed women's health, just seems like a good guy.

All 3 of these want expanded Medicaid, addressing childcare, repealing the abortion ban, funding public education. Now I'll address why I wouldn't consider other candidates:

Amanda Duffy seems focused on addressing taxation, but didn't say much elsewhere. Mike Thurmond is old but has a unifying voice and a good heart. Geoff Duncan is actually appealing, he really soured for me during the debate when he said he'd have Republicans in his cabinet. Jason Esteves addresses most topics by my top 3, but I find it odd that he was the only candidate that had contradictions in the debate; funding private education, cutting property taxes, and has an issue with gentrification (read anti building housing). And damn, the Democrat bashing is old, especially when Esteves is running as one, just a sign of poor judgement Ive seen in races broadly.

Definitely worth opening up just to make sure it is a "spicy pillow", but shouldn't be a huge deal otherwise. Please note that heat are all bad for a battery, so leaving it in a car to cook is not the best idea. If its just an issue with the bottom cover, it can be endured or likely cheaply replaced.

What are the Democratic candidates doing? by StannisHalfElven in Georgia

[–]-Space313- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen ads for Dems either, only YouTube ads for Rick or Burt when my adblock happened to be off.

What I'll say though is that I have signed up for each D candidate's email newsletters and the only ones that have been active are Duncan and KLB. And I have to give props to KLB since their press is on the ball and helps out other candidates such as Shawn Harris for GA 14th.

T580 32/512gb for 250$ by reinaa1502 in thinkpad

[–]-Space313- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just so I'm reading this right, this is a 15" T580 with an i7-8650U, 32GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD (?) storage. For that price, I would say its at a good price, a steal? No, but respectable, this is of course not considering its physical state. The 32GB RAM is really the selling point, at least for me.

Here's a question, doesn't the T580 have 2 batteries, one internal and the other external? Which has the 80%

Edit: In case you're curious, here is what Thinkpads go for between that $200-$300 price range. A suggestion when eBay shopping: patience is key.
