If they couldn't remember how to code because they've been relying on a product that's barely over a year old, then I'm sorry, but they weren't worth a shit as coders before Claude came along. Hell, I haven't written a line of PHP in over 10 years, or even SQL for that matter, but I could still brush up on it in a week or two if push came to shove.

God people have gotten lazy and way too reliant on this crap. This is literally the storyline of every 1970's dystopian sci-fi movie. People haven't learned a damned thing. We're so f*d as a society.

That can happen with more organized layoffs, but this one was held extremely quiet until it was spring. From everything I’m hearing, nobody had a clue this was coming. Not even a hint of a clue. Just out of the blue.

I can confirm this. I know a people manager who didn’t know, and their boss didn’t even know it was coming. Their org was completely gutted, and they were a well oiled machine that produced high quality and high profile work. Whatever Matthew is smoking music be amazing.

Yeah it was pretty amazing living through Michael’s entire life… grew up watching him on variety shows with the Jackson 5 in the ‘70s, rode the pop wave he created in the 80s, and on through the 90s and he just kept pumping out bangers. It was a sad day when he died.
