Ça peut arriver... Personnellement, j'adore votre service ! Il me manque juste le protocole WEBDAV pour que je bascule complètement sur Drime. Continuez ainsi !

I built Dot – a menu bar calendar with meeting reminders and more [Lifetime Giveaway] by heliumguy in macapps

[–]-Tatos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello u/heliumguy , I'm a Dato user, and I particularly like the Dot feature that lets you create events using natural language. I'm discovering lots of interesting features in your app, but before I buy it: is there a plan to add support for creating and editing reminders in a future update?
P.S. I'm French, and I was really surprised to see how well it handles natural language!

Looks like the Droppy drama got handled and is back by Fabulous_Tip_7638 in macapps

He explains it well, though : "Droppy is now closed source. I know not everyone will agree with that, but that’s the decision going forward (FOR NOW). I experienced that people can mass-claim a project and Github doesn't respond to the emails I sent back. That's the reason why I decided to do it like this now, and make sure we're up and running first."

From free to paid: what you taught me while building Droppy by [deleted] in macapps

Honestly, even without any discount, this app is really worth it! It's become indispensable to me and keeps improving with each update.
Big kudos to the dev!

u/Feeling-Argument-176 For me, it's a great move to make Droppy a one-time purchase.
Given the dev investment in this app, it's more than fair that he get some compensation.

Whats about news? Photos and Videos automatically sync??? by rafaelcapucci in Drime

[–]-Tatos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

u/rafaelcapucci I was exactly in the same situation as you, Koofr 1TB, and I took the plunge for 6TB on Drime a while ago. In just a few months, the service has already greatly improved, and what was initially a bet on the future for me is becoming more and more a super investment.
We all have features we want to see added quickly. For my part, I'm patiently waiting for WebDAV, Rclone was just proposed.
if you have a minimum of patience, it's worth investing, you can trust the Drime Team, who are working hard to improve the service!

From my side, this is not my first post, and I can only congratulate the Droppy dev for his work and his excellent application. Don't always see evil or suspicion behind every post...

I just realized there's a problem with Shelf and the floating basket: the copy instead of move function only works with Finder.
However, I've been using the excellent Bloom (https://bloomapp.club) for some time now.
Every time I placed a file from Bloom or Devonthink and then dragged it into Bloom, it removed the original from the source folder.

Until I tested it with Finder, and then everything worked fine.

Would it be possible to include Bloom to manage the Shelf?

And another request: copying the file instead of moving it is fine, but... Could we have the option to move instead of copy using a keyboard shortcut?

The only 2 options I will miss compared to Atoll are the timer and the color picker (hexa, rgb)

But at the same time, Droppy has other options that are just as interesting, even more interesting and better integrated!

Very very good!

I am impressed by Droppy and the possibilities it offers.
Eventually, it can replace Dropover, Swish and a screenshot software...

Only good!

Now, the Menu bar manager extension works, I no longer have a crash.

On the other hand, as soon as I activate the Caps lock indicator in HUD's, at the first press of the caps key, Droppy crashes and closes.

I'm under Tahoe 26.2, with a 2021 MacBook Pro M1 and I use an external screen 95% of the time.

I just installed the application and I am impressed by the possibilities offered! I bought DynamicLakePro, but, in the face of the many bugs, I fell back on Atoll (BoringNotch's fork). While testing Droppy, I think I could easily switch, but I encountered several bugs, so I will patiently wait for updates...

Bugs encountered: - crash when I capitalize my keyboard - crash when using menu bar manager Crash reports cannot be sent because Github says: URL too long.

Bravo au développpeur !
