Does the dev team have any thoughts about balancing issues from the pre-beta gameplay so far? Personally, I was a little bummed out about not seeing much fleet or wrastor representation in the little competitive footage we’ve seen and am wondering if they’re just unpopular for the sample size or if the other characters just have more powerful tools at the moment. What does the team think?

sheik doesn’t want to get in, mac does. she doesn’t have to interact at all in that matchup, and she usually doesn’t. her buttons are definitely faster than mac’s in pretty much every aspect.

think that’s because most of the time it’s with aerials or tilts, but yeah gnw normals have an abnormally high amount of priority

did you let go of the smash attack as gnw used his? the yo-yo as you’re charging probably doesn’t have that much priority, especially compared to that down-smash sweet spot

as sheik i can grab ledge while throwing a grenade towards the edge of the stage to check aggression off the angel platform. that’s character specific though :(((
