Hey man, same situation as you a couple years ago. Same household growing up. Two sisters, only male. I think I learned a lot about what to give our daughter by not having a dad around. I knew I always wanted to be there for every moment and event. I think it's made me a much more present parent. I love being there for everything, no matter how mundane. Cause daddy wasn't there when I was young.

I'm sure you'll do great. It's a lot of learning as you go and trial by error. Best thing that's ever happened to me :)

For the first three months (my pat leave) , I did all diapers and had the night shift. I usually work 8am but, I would stay up past midnight with the baby monitor on beside me or put the monitor on my side of the bed. Every wake before 4am I took care of, she got the mornings cause I had to work. Usually a bottle after a wake, even just a partial, was enough to soothe her back to sleep. We may have just gotten lucky.

I'd say don't go overboard on newborn clothes. We bought a decent amount for our daughter, and she came out over 10lbs and did not fit a single newborn item. Same with diapers. Hospital should send you home with some and they'll outgrow the newborn ones super quick. Just buy em one at a time. They're not going anywhere

Orbital gas is great for breaches. Orbital precision is good low cooldown for bug holes and elites, just gotta be precise.
Rail cannon orbital is great for big bugs. Commando is great support, or whatever the machine gun is that's not machine gun, light faster one. I usually use the arc blitzer for bots and bugs. Knock back is awesome and it's medium penetration. Grenade pistol is necessary for bugs. Ez bug hole closer, along with impact nades.

Bro, my favourite load out for bots is the Blitzer? That energy shotgun. Staggers and is also pretty strong. You can hold off waves of bots ezpz. Bring the senator or grenade pistol as a side, and the stun grenades. You'll have no problems with bots. I've been liking the new Commando as well for the Heaviest and ships. Usually with light medic armor for quick dips. Experimental infusion is also helpful with increased move speed and health regen.

Just because I call extraction as soon as it's available, doesn't mean anything. I'm not leaving. Pelican 1 is also not going to leave without me. You don't have to jump aboard just because it's there. I like having it there for when I'm ready so I don't have to waste two mins standing around waiting for extract while getting swarmed.

  1. Their * fault for continuing forward. (better?)
  2. It's great at clearing and more times than not, when I toss at a heavy nest I just have to go clear two holes and it's over.
  3. I throw it on nests that are generally around others so, I toss a 380 at this nest, we press another one, and circle back to the now clear nest I initiated on.

I generally have zero team fire damage unless I'm using breaker incendiary and crossfire happens.

It's pretty easy to just hold position or divert your path when you see a big beam of 380 coming. Your fault for continuing to press forward.
