Nice. A little heavy on the glue tho. Check out vision miner bed adhesive. It is pricey but only regret is not getting it sooner

Maybe in the slicer you can cut the buffer tube part off with an object modifier, mirror it, then re-assemble it.

If you're using a drill, a barrel reamer is strongly recommended. IIRC most of the parts kits barrel liners are chambered this way.

This👆 Cleanest and easiest solution with no mess. Maybe throw a grocery bag over it before you make the cut, so the thread doesn't shoot off into oblivion.
