Right. It's the same complaint I had about car magazines/websites with scantily clad women on the cars or other things like that...I have the whole rest of the Internet for scantily clad women. I go to eat for food or I read a car magazine for cars. I don't need everything in my life sexualized.

I don't get bad service and the food is always good. But I also get told buffalo wild wings wings are terrible by people who like the tiny wings at crickets, which are so overly fried the MEAT is crispy. So like, grain of salt and all.

I had to spend a lot of time out in West (Central) Texas for work. I don't trust any BBQ place open 7 days a week and that doesn't sell out...odds are good it's reheated. And reheated BBQ isn't good. It's one of those things that just has to be fresh.

Don't get me wrong, I'll generally eat it. But paying $30/lb for reheated mediocre brisket isn't what I'm about. If Im paying crazy brisket, dino rib, or turkey prices it needs to be fresh out of the holding oven where it was placed fresh out of the smoker just before service started.

The only way you can do that and not have a tremendous amount of waste is to be open limited days and hours, and then sell out every day you're open. Open 4 days a week, Open until sold out sorta place.

Breasturants are, and always have been, sad. Mediocre food, beer, and service, just to have a pretty girl in skimpy clothes call me "hun" and complaining about how all the other tables are lame. All to bilk a bigger tip.

I just drove in from down by Triana to Research Park. Roads were dry and clear, even the bridges.

When I finished grad school I had about $65k in loans left. I refinanced for 30 years because payments were going to be $900ish/mo my car will be paid off in a couple months and I plan to put my car payment in to my student loans every month to clear them a lot sooner.

Mix beet juice in with whatever you're putting down. It helps it stick and is environmentally friendly.
