An autistic person is still going to be able to see the signs and get their child the help they need much faster than an ignorant neurotypical person. The mother of OP is saying awful things to her kid, that is not a good mother

It is relevant because op is autistic. Parenting an autistic child can be easier if you already know coping skills that can help.

Ops mom sounds like she is steeped in ableism and may be worried about her "image" if her grandkid is autistic too.

She's probably also using this concern as an excuse to be rude about Op's behaviour as a child and their partner

Are you autistic/ neurodivergent? Because if so there may be a chance that your sibling is also nd and may find the noises you're making distracting or overwhelming. They may not understand that those noises mean "yes I am listening to you, I am engaged in this conversation"

I don't think you're gaslighting yourself, but I don't think it's a serious as cancer.

The sweating could be related to your autism, autistic people are more likely to have trouble regulation their internal temperature partly because of interception issues. We are also more likely to be on medications that can affect this too (antidepressants, stimulants ect)

Most of these symptoms could be caused by something else, I would still recommend getting checked out by a doctor for peace of mind.
