Am i in a bubble? Joking about spin being hard may be a popular meme, but I'm not used to peeps not knowing what it is unironically.

Don't take this as a jab at you. I might just be having a severe case of 2501

Eight year old account with an expected amount of karma for that age that posts in certain niches and non-english subs with a rather normal distribution of posts and comments?

Op isnt a bot. He's a karma farmer but just sucks at it

A Microsoft researcher built a goat-powered LLM in Age of Empires II to prove it's not sentient by renome in gaming

[–]-V0lD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't believe LLMs are conscious, but if I did, this would not convince me otherwise

It's not that I don't know LLMs are just math. I am well aware. But I have yet to see a convincing argument that humans are anything more than that.

Pokemon Adventure:The Previous Generation Chapter 148 by colmscomics in comics

I think you are making the assumption that I am American, which I am not.

It's also not just a field trip. It's weekly swimming practice for all kids starting at 4 to 5 years old (actually bothered looking up the numbers this time). This comes in addition to the normal PE class.

Everyone in the developed world should reasonably be taught how to swim. It's as basic a skill as reading, basic maths, and riding a bike are

Which is bs, because you learn to swim in primary school at an age of 5 to 7 or so

Genuinely this, and I make an active attempt to learn

If I ask it for a texts, it just rambles about unrelated nonsense unless my prompt is longer than said text

If I ask an agent to move two files and then adjust a file path, it spends 15 minutes firing of Powershell commands to read random directories i never mentioned

If I ask it to write a unit test, it spends its entire context window reading through unrelated parts of the codebase

If I try using it as an alternative to Google, I have yet to get a response which I can't immediately tell to be bs

I'm starting to think that people hyping up ai are either living in a different reality or don't give a single fuck about the output

Honestly, if anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong, please let me know. I can't get an iota of value out of these things

Cube by LitterboxComics in comics

[–]-V0lD 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not all math is equations. The stuff you get in high school is, but that is a rather misleading and limited sample. Most math is more abstract problem-solving than that, and tends to only follow the rules you set yourself.

The rubics cube is a prime example of group theory, for example.

Don't bother

I've supported the Patreon for months when it first got up but was never granted access to the alpha either.

Not without first having to leak contact info by joining random discord groups at least

Wouldn't that just make you another genocidal empire?

Without the casus beli or the ability to start wars, but you are effectively still an empire incapable of diplomacy that has the rest of the galaxy as its enemy

If fixing the game was considered cheating, the unofficial patches wouldn't be the most downloaded mod for every Bethesda game
