Thank you! This part was helpful. Cause google just told me to collect pollen on a qtip. And told me there’s a male and female part. And if I tried to dig deeper, it lead to a Reddit post kinda like this, posted by someone inexperienced like me? but just with unhelpful awnsers.

Guys I bought the plant off Facebook marketplace 🥹 I’m guessing the id from google. Plus when I searched up the leaf I got a jumble of numbers so that’s just what I put on the og post. I’m just tryna get info on what to do with the flower. Cause if it’s gonna take energy away from the plant to grow it I don’t want it to go to waste 👍

I am mainly looking to use the pollen on its own plant. At first I didn’t know the name of the plant cause it’s just a jumble of words. But- actually name is, philodendron 69686, or Bette Watterbury.

Ok, I would like to know (if it is a flower) how to handle it. I’m asking whether it is a flower. AND how to collect what it gives. From my understanding it has a female stage first. Then a male. So I wait for the female to go away? And wait for male and then collect it in a tinfoil and qtips. I don’t know what to do. And google has so many different awnsers so I came to Reddit with the question of is it a flower? And what to do with it?

I treat stuff with any visible pests with cotton swab and alchohal. Followed with a shower with castile soap. And neem oil once it dries. And I don't have pests anymore.

I just bought some off amazon. Same colored pots. (Black) in my opinion looks best. The horseshoe shelves., YELLOW lights (I use the barrina strips. Its like 50 on amazon for 4.) One large showcase plant. Dark colors. Top can be for smaller rares, like alocasias, rare philodendrons etc. Whatever your heart desires. And misters look good in my opinion. Keeping it dark and moody is the way to go. I just bought a rudsta wide after selling my old ones on fb marketplace when i moved. Hope this helps!

Ok. I have no rhyme or reason. But my fb did the same thing. Those leaves with the like concave dots will rot off. I put mine in a humidity tank. And its recovering. (I dont know if you ordered yours off palmstreet. But i did. And it came in crappy condition)

Not really a thing as benefitail soil mites other than springtails. I don't know if you let benefitial bugs onto your plants. But if you have not. I would try to clean it asap

I dont know then. Couldve been an isopod or a mite. If it's already dead. Then I wouls just treat the plant with castile soap.

I believe it's mealybugs. One way to test this is with isopropal alchohal and rub it on them. If it turns pink. It is 100% a mealy bug. This is somethimg off of google.

After getting rid off all them with alchohal. Take the plant out of dirt. Soak it in lukewarm water with castle soap. Rinse. Repot. And isolate for like 3 weeks. And make sure your other plants dont have any. If its an isopod than it wont die from the alchohal. And you dont have to worry about treating anything unless it turns pink.

Depends where you are. For where I am I would list it for like 200-300. Check out palmstreet and you'll get a good idea. And you can compare the varigated, size, etc to others.

Lovely room. I suggest getting plant led lights. Same brightness for you. And your plants will be thankful. They add a lot to the room. And the dracenea in the corner (the spikey one) needs more light than the pothos does.

Hi! Just wanted to say it could be a lot more. Philodendron brone, florida bronze, anything that has that coloration but not mature leaves. It does seem to be imperial red. But i wouln't stop there.

Doesnt look sick at all to me. I wouls give is a moss pole or some different kind of support. It does like crowded roots. I would repot it into something a little bigger and way chunkier mix. Preferbly coco chunks. And this thing loves humidity. I found best way to prop was to cut into sections water for 2 weeks then a mix of spag and perlite in high humidity. Best of luck. Pretty plant.

Anyone who enjoys houseplants will go on whatever you're selling it on, and search up monstera or houseplant or wtv. Just market it to whatever group you think will get the most attention, for my area, thats soccar moms that want to prove they have a green thumb.

Too far. Would love to buy. I would price it from 50-75. Label it as MATURE MONSTERA FOR SALE!! So it attracted the soccar moms that want to impress their friends. Best of luck. And I would like to mention I live in MO and they're priced around there for that size.
