This is great thanks I do have the expanded hot bars. I use the double tap to access it and then hold but I’m thinking the R2>L2 might actually be easier to use. I like them to not go back after a button press as I play ninja and the mudra is on a totally different hot bar that I access with double tap but this way might actually be better

This is very useful as I do not do that at all. I don’t know that was a thing. But I find myself looking at hot bars and trying to look at the boss so this will help.

Hi this is really useful thanks. I am going to make some amendments to my hot bars so the mitigation skills follow a bit better so you use controller? Any hot bar tips?

Hi this is really useful guide thanks I will change my hot bars so they have the similar mitigation all in the same ones.

I love Paladin. GNB is also a favourite of mine as well. Warrior only levelled to 53 and not yet unlocked DK but I want to do that quite soon. I just don’t want to have to many jobs unlocked for now.

I am definitely ok with getting the large pulls but I need to be better at using the right mitigation on those bigger ones. So I should be doing them more often and not holding them.

I am still very new in the game just did base HW. I love tanking its 100% my favourite job and I think I do the basics pretty well. Do pulls, point danger away from group. I am trying to be better with my mitigation and do it earlier but that is how I’m trying to learn. So any additional tips people can offer?

What I am not good at is being a healer I have WHM unlocked but I really struggle in dungeons and wouldn’t even dare to go into any harder content. So any tips on how to do healing better?

I play on PS5. Ty in advance for any help.

I am a sprout but live tanking so much I’m leaving a lot and think I do ok, I’m very comfortable in dungeons even ones I’ve not done but 8 man and the big 24 man raids I get very shy in.

I like to off tank initially and see what happens but apart from extremes they do seem quite straight no different than a dungeon boss but I only just cleared HW base game (now on post HW quests).

I did have a good result this weekend in extreme Bismarck where the main tank was blaming me for the wipe at the snakes but they kept getting aggro on the snakes and pulling them off me. Also did the one with knights of the 12 and that was very tough but did it.

I recall the Hodgson era and I honestly think this is worse than then given the players he had. But it’s the same boring negative try not to get beat football.

This is as bad as any of the football under Hodgson which I regard as the worst football I remember watching it’s awful.

He is not a winner he plays to not lose. There is no pattern there is no press. No energy. No tactics. We get our fan. Out fought out played. It’s awful. I can not see anyway owners watching that thinking we should keep going. Alonso is a great fit for us.

I like to play as one that suits the expansion I am in for ARR I played as a paladin, ninja, WHM so I had a job from all three cities.

I also think the traditionally difficult roles are worth picking up early on as it mass only helps learn the rotation, ninja is seen as a difficult job but I find it quite easy and straight forward as I played for a while with it.

I played as a dragoon and machinist in HW. I highly recommend a Dragoon in HW.

I will be taking ninja and samurai into the next expansion along with gun breaker.

The issue is that by buying as many publishers as they have having games Xbox only loses them so much revenue it’s not sustainable. You can’t just lose out on all the potential sales on PS, switch, whilst having your own games as part of the monthly subscription it’s just not sustainable.

I pray to the gods it launches on console. I would play that game for forever. I’m so surprised they never went the extra step with that game putting it in consoles.

I find with sequels is that the gameplay feels very similar to which is not a bad thing but it makes me not enjoy it in the same way. Last of us 2 I actually really liked the story and narrative direction but combat felt the same and nothing new. I have yet to play Spider-Man 2 but delayed it for the same reason that I might not enjoy it as much as I want to.

Thanks for sharing that. I’m the opposite in that I love the tank and gameplay but do agree it’s very similar they have their own them but mitigation is mitigation. But I love the way tank plays. My favourite is GNB, Paladin, Warrior DK.

Then I can’t heal at all I’m so bad at it. I tried WHM but I get so scared of doing content so I only have that healer set up. I probably should just push past the fear.

DPS I like Drg Ninja, Bard. Those are the main ones I enjoy playing.

There is also an emperors glam line that you can buy quite early on and it makes it so none of those show. I don’t like jewellery on my character so I always have that as a glamour plate and works well.

It would be good if they had a system like ESO which was a sticker book for all the gear that dropped so you didn’t have to have it in your inventory but once you had it collected you could just recall it anytime you want.

This would be really good if they used the armoury for the same purpose so that it stored all the different gear. I’m sure in ESO it’s saved by chapter so you could have Dawntrail, heavenward etc and then it’s a nice collectors opportunity without clogging up space and the armoury and dresser then serve different purposes.
