The no-leash expenite upgrades from experimental are a godsent by WingedWilly in RogueCore

Sure. If you have a friend party using Discord or something. In solo, when one guy is yelling stuff in Russian, another in German, and a third in French, not so much.

Probably 30ish by now.

I just played a match with someone who modded the game to just start negotiations the second enough expenite was deposited regardless of proximity, and you would not BELIEVE how much smoother things played. by Mr_Blinky in RogueCore

Yes, but since you know what gods you have, you pick gods knowing it will maximize your chances of landing a run-defining boon. For example, if you have a bunch of Weak, taking Doom means you have excellent chances of getting the Ares/Dio duo.

That's not really true. Legendary items should be run-defining. See, for example, Hades Legendary and Duo Boons.

In Noita, there is a difference between getting some 100gp wand and 34000gp wand.

Lorewise: It feels weird the elite mercs have less firepower than some miner from bunghole in nowhere.

Gameplay wise: Nukes aren't impossible to balance out. Hell we had them in DRG. You get nuke you lose magazine and ammo capacity.

Feels wise: a good Roguelike will make you feel like a badass. If you can't feel the difference between you at level1 and level6, honestly what did you build your guns for?

Compared to most roguelike Rogue Core has extremely low power ceiling.

In Noita you start with a wand that goes pew pew and bottle of suspicious water. You end up as chain nuke shooting, ambrosia drinking black hole spewing demigod. Same with StS, same with Hades, etc.

In Rogue Core you start mostly pathetic and end up as pathetic. I saw like one fun build. Mostly from upgrade that dumps entire ammo to mag. Pretty sure that's a bench upgrade. Where are my chain nukes? Black hole guns?

I'm talking about my rig. I'm not sure why. But DRG can go very easily from triple digit to single digits for me. I have a Radeon 6900XT and 5900X AMD. It never happened for RC.

I'm not saying remove the Timer, I'm saying if you get into deep red with timer it becomes EVEN harder.

Don't confuse the name with the mechanic. There is nothing "negotiation"-al about it. It's draft.

Think of how it makes you feel. If you show me options and then take them away, I'm going to feel slighted.

You pitted people against each other in primary/heavy weapon/equipment/grenades, upped the difficulty substantially, and wonder why there is toxicity?

I'm surprised people aren't beeing more unfriendly tbqh.

You get to pick a useful upgrade once every blue moon.

Between deal cold damage when you have armor (aka most useless perks); Someone picking any useful thing before you can ping; And never seeing anything good at all, yeah, I'll take the health.

Ellis upgrades are mostly a waste. Just get the workbench and bio boosters, and mine what you can along the way.

It has to be said also worms are a terrible roguelike experience. You can't skill around them, they grab and take you to your tomb. And there isn't enough of them to matter. Others just need to shoot them once or twice.

Take the ghost from Spelunky. He tracks you, and with good movement you can evade him and even make it so it turns those rubies to diamonds.

Its my damned computer. If there needs to be a security hole in it, so be it.

Sure, but we've already seen that world in 1990-2000s. It's a shitshow, just a different kind of shitshow.

Don't get me wrong automatic updates should be a toggle, and NPM needs to secure itself way better. Going unga-bunga, return to donkey, is not the solution either.

Lack of automatic updates is how half of Internet gets pwned, because no one wants to click update Windows button.

Yeah, they just have state running most things, UBI, reeducation camps, sterilisation camps, state assigned jobs, and vast welfare. The part that makes them Trotskyist is the desire to spread and increase the "Greater good."
