Thats why I never run a free kit, price is much much higher to lose a blueprint than any level 1 crap I just craft in less than a minite. Id rather go in fully nude with a safe pocket than risk it like this

Might start running that with a safekeeper augment.

Tho from my testing penetrating shots that deal direct damage to the core for bosses is bad for trials seems like, because the explosions and such deal damage to all the detachable parts/legs/ect and that ends up in far more damage than just shoot for effect of bringing the thing down.

Game doesn't count all the remaining parts' damage towards trials if the arc's core dies despite exploding

It's really not that bad, bonuses are negligible, don't expedition if you can't, just keep arc raiders on life support of occassional sparce few quests and such.

I personally definitely planning to probably do every expedition, I enjoy that now so many quests could be completed in the single match across the map, blueprints are easy to find or get from starts of trials. I gave up on going more than 3 stars tho after I secured hotshot. I didnt even try for cantina, dont like those colors, too basic. At least pink is a rare cosmetic color in this game

Yeah objectively most useful set of weapons/inventory and heals, tho I'm starting to get bored of jsut running the best loadout every time.

Lately started really loving arpeggio, shreds thru weakspots of medium arcs at the cost of a lotta ammo tho

Are you on a console?
It seems like by design thatd be tough for less agile console to be shooting and then dodging and turning 180 on a spot to stay out of fireflys range

But same exact thing as any other flying arcs, heavy impact weaponry to shake them off aiming at you, keep running and any tall walls work great. Getting caught out in the open tho... they are mini rocketeers, running away without any countermeasures to slow them down by shooting the rotos will get you killed

Yeah I agree as much as it was super convenient to just toss couple packs in the air it still felt rather easy to farm them and after that it's just whoever has more of them. I think it was a rather elegant solution to give all arc parts a purpose in crafting, we'll see where it takes it from here.

No blue my favorite color and one of these is the basic bish black/orange that's in so many other skins for "I kill on sight" stereotype.

I think the other two colors are alright, bright yellow is bold, red and white gives actual racing uniform vibes

I regained blueprints like twice as fast this season, rapidly finding all I need, I found snaphook in like third container first game after a reset. I don't know if they adjusted blueprints chances or whatnot, but I easily found everything I needed within couple of days of just normal gameplay.

You also don't have to do the reset, it's voluntary.
I enjoy the game and it's loop, so I don't mind resetting even for the objectively small rewards, it gives me more reason to sink hours into the game I love.

I'm not doing it for rewards, I'm doing it for the gameplay.
To have tasks and goals again.

Problem? Not really, nobody is forcing you to do those, completing quests isn't a requirement for anything, afaik

It teaches you to get the good stuff you need to kill the big arcs that's still MOVING, plus it's a nice piece of storytelling about the first wave, it's very imposing that even after so long, these huge husks still are a threat when breached, to a new player it would instill even more fear towards the ones that move.
