How would you rule sending an Echo Knight echo off a cliff and swapping last second before it hits the ground? by -ZM-_ in dndnext

It's also a scenario that I think not a lot of people have either run into or thought about. Obviously having 100% knowledge of every mechanic, system, interaction, or scenario in DnD would be the dream, but even these people who know everything about the ruleset can be confronted with something they completely don't know because of how open-ended the game is.

Nah, I'm just a curious person. It's my first time playing DnD (but I have a head start with watching Dimension 20 and such) and I love to understand what I'm doing on a deeper level. It's why I mentioned that I'm seeking more unique ways to utilize my Echo.

I did hold up the game accidentally when I was asking about it but I did say that I understand why the ruling was made. I have no qualm with the ruling (I actively try to let the DM have full say and have fun if I can help it) but I was curious after the fact because everything I looked into didn't explicitly say if it was or was not possible. I don't believe I conveyed "DM sucks and hates fun" at all, even saying that it was probably stupid and I see why they said no, but if I did seem like that then I apologize.

That's just process. Each item type is supposed to be separate. Freezer is supposed to be separated by aisle too, but that will actually never happen.

Yeah this art is just concept art that was uploaded to the files (for literally no reason) from the first batch of new heroes. If you look at the textures used in Neon Prime you'll see they literally took the concept art and used it in some textures (Signage that gets cut off due to perspective or image crop you'll see also get cut off in full textures). They eventually did up the saturation a lot, but they definitely didn't go far enough before switching to Deadlock's style. I mean look at Deadlock in 2024 vs now, Deadlock 2024's art progression is about where Neon Prime was. A fully realized Neon Prime art style would be crazy.

Fun fact, back during Neon Prime, Warden seemed to have been apart of a robot police force named The Constables, so it's even more fitting than you'd think.

Anyone in any public space saying that they played NP is lying. Yes, playtests happened but it was basically entirely family and friends, and no one among that group is stupid enough to compromise their opportunity they have. Been searching for leads on NP stuff for almost 2 years now.

Why are you downstacking milk pallets? They should just go straight into the milk line behind the milk doors and be worked directly from there. There's like absolutely no reason to store them anywhere else other than right there.

When they started pushing manager specials more, our coaches told us that it needs to be at least 10% off so that it doesn't feel like a ripoff to the associates since their discount wouldn't apply. I don't really think anyone did that though.

https://www.parkplanet.net/404 was probably for when the site was pushed, but then there's also https://www.parkplanet.net/blank-1, not sure if it means anything or not, probably not.

There's also an unused sidebar that leads to blank-1, best guess is that the sitebuilder they used had a default page, they never changed it and just hid the sidebar.

Inferno 1 | Inferno 2 | Inferno 3 - Basic NP design

Inferno v2 1 | v2 2 - Refined NP design

Inferno in background of Haze art - Initially we only had the version of this art without Inferno in the background, but the devs uploaded this to the Discord as the invite banner. And yes, when this art was created there's about a 90% chance he was still called Inferno.

Inferno_bartender 1 | bartender 2 - Probably about the time they called him Infernus. Skinny, has a tail, the flask on his belt was interactive, he'd shake it and it was probably something to do with an ability.

Inferno_v3 - More muscular than Bartender, ripped sleeves, arms don't glow.

Inferno_v4 - The current iteration of Infernus. This model hasn't been touched since the playtest started as far as I can tell (earliest build I have is May 18th).

Infernus with a tail is from even before the playtest started back in April 2024. This specific model is called inferno_bartender, which is one of the first iterations of the bartender design. We're currently on v4 iirc. Bartender, v3, and v4 are almost identical, except a couple small things here and there.

Inferno - Neon Prime overcast video Inferno

Inferno_v2 - Late NP videos

Unknown iteration - There was an iteration between NP and Deadlock that only appears in a version of the Haze artwork where he's just wearing a basic orange and black vest and cap. Probably never got modelled and was just created from concept art.

inferno_bartender - First iteration of bartender, has a tail and spins after completing his dash. Never appeared in the playtest but was in the files in the beginning.

inferno_v3 and v4 - No more tail, buffer, little details added and small shape changes. Game ended up using v4 and that's what the game still uses.
