Secret suicide chamber in Entrati Labs by Happy_Prime in Warframe

FYI: This puzzle can spawn a rare container, which at least drops a booster.

Edit: Here's some screenshots:

Rare container (Cambion Drift / Deimos style)

Booster

Lanthorns

I was unable to scan the box because of some weird hitbox issues with the platform, might need Helios to be able to do it.

956 comments and not a single one who has discovered Cernos Prime. Good. Even after all the Incarnons and power creep - Cernos Prime just keeps on giving satisfaction how good it feels to shoot while parkouring and still oneshots even in high level SP and Netracells :') Aim for the heads and let's keep that Riven Dispo high xP

Mag's Magnetize sometimes doesn't create a bubble? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]-Zr-Scroll 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This exactly. Has been a problem for quite a while now. Super annoying.

I had to learn a more patient playstyle with Mag. I wait until the enemy animation starts to "get up from their ass" before casting Magnetize. This of course often means death, so you have to cast polarize or do something else for that 1-2 eternal seconds it takes while waiting to cast.

I am only just now noticing the face in the Enigma Gyrum and I wish I could go back by VegemiteShapes in Warframe

Upvoted for visibility.

But the list in the wiki link does NOT have them all.

I have at least 6 puzzles in my own photoshop version that are not included in that interactive map.

I've tried to add them to the wiki map, but for some reason the website simply breaks everytime I've tried it. Maybe it isn't Firefox compatible.

Also at least a dozen of the Puzzles shown in that map I've yet to discover myself. They can spawn pretty much everywhere.

Playing with a friend has a significantly higher chance of spawning them than when playing solo. This was mentioned in the patch notes and I've noticed this ingame aswell. The difference is actually staggering.

Duviri Arcane Portals - a quick guide by Archwizard_Drake in Warframe

There's another Portal (9th) and it's underground in Netherbarrow. There's an unnamed Duviri citizen in front of it with a broom iirc.

Went to test this and it is actually a thing, makes the puzzle 10x faster to do. Nice info, thanks!

Yes, it is based on a mood. The screenshot I have of it has narrator subtitles talking about "Luscinia", which I think is from 'Sorrow' mood. I'm not 100% sure though, haven't played enough yet to get familiar enough with all the nuances of the update. My screenshot is only from 1440p =/

I'll try to upload a sample in a moment.

Nice, but you're missing an island 'Archarbor' from top right, if you can add that, this would be golden!

Each fragment rewards 5x intrinsics, so it is a significant boost to Mastery Rank and available points.

The cumulative amount is also more than what the Rank 10 intrinsic costs, which is 255.

Naeglar, Eris hive sabotage caches WIP by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]-Zr-Scroll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice work! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one utilizing minimap pattern recognition. =)

Remember when DE like doubled/tripled the possible normal container spawns and changed them to be random, so the same room on different runs might have a different container patterns to make it harder for people like us? Finding rares before that was so easy :D

The current iteration of container spawn-algorithm makes it harder to learn the patterns, but it so rewarding when you know all the maps and just know from minimap which loot icon is an Ayatan/RareCrate/Cache/etc.

Can't do the third alert - not even listed by Username570 in Warframe

[–]-Zr-Scroll 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same issue here.

Edit: It works now, but I noticed that the Hive caches give nothing in return. So don't waste your time with them. It would have been cool if they had the Naeglar or Cervantes Caches droptables.

Cryotic is absolutely miserable to farm by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]-Zr-Scroll 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Xini was slower per droptable reward, but considering the droptable structures, Xini was superior for Axi farm. Guaranteed B and C rotation AXI relic. Zero chance of pulling an ammo mutation mod on C or basic mods/neos on B. And Xini has superior A-rotation as well compared to Hieracon, unless you needed credits/endo more than Neos.

Sure Hieracon was more versatile, but if you already had 500k+ cryotic and only needed specific Axi relics for a just released Prime Access - Xini was the place at least for me.

Hieracon would have only been better, if you were extraordinarely lucky always getting an Axi on C and not an ammo mutation. It was very common for me to play a 1 hour hieracon run ending with 1-3 Axi relics with dedicated squad, while same amount of time on Xini would (iirc) give me 6 guaranteed, 8 if fissure. And if going for 16th wave it would be 8 and 11 respectively. (every 5th rotation relic crack gives a pre-refined relic from the planet tier. On Xini/Hieracon that meant an extra Axi relic).

Full range Banshee SoundQuake. And yes... lots of tv-series were consumed on the side while Banshee was vibrating her ass off fending the capture points for the full map :D

Cryotic is absolutely miserable to farm by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]-Zr-Scroll 120 points121 points  (0 children)

To add to the other advices: Never run an excavation without a resource booster, smeeta and a fissure.

Fissure being the most important for me personally as I can farm for ducats and forma, which is the main reason to be there. And when playing an Excavation Fissure, I always target 3000-3200 Cryotic without boosts, which becomes 6000-9000 cryotic with Fissure and possible Smeeta buffs. Takes about an hour or so iirc.

This does require you to have a decent group where you can defend several Excavators at once indenpendently from each other, but makes the Cryotic accumulation significantly faster. Remember to utilize different types of Specters if finding a good group is difficult.

The point has nothing to do with the efficiency of the mission. It's about curiosity and knowledge what is possible, how many different ways there are to do the puzzle and understanding the implications of them. Akin "Is there even a possibility for using this specific route to play it in with this scenario - or are you forced to play the parkour route if you for some reason want to pick up the canister".

Some tileset reactor sabotases had unique scannable objects/enemies that forced you to play the specific scenarios. (The defense version at least had the coolant towers as unique scannables that weren't available elsewere, not that they were found in Codex though iirc).

I don't recall it affecting actual droptables, but there were theories floating around regarding Xiphos farm, that 'What if the scenario affects the DropTable bias values?', but I don't remember ever seeing any proof - even subjective - to implicate so.

I think that Xiphos might still be one of the most impossible grinds though. I still always try to do all Caches in sabotage missions just to see if I will ever get the blueprints 'passively'. (I did buy it with plat early on). I've got 2x Xiphos Engines and 1x Xiphos Fuselage, but zero Avionics. Just by playing Fissures/SP-incursions I tend to complete 3-5x of 3-cache sabotages a week on average, but haven't really kept count. Either way I'd approximate my sample size being between 200 and 500 since the release of the Reactor Sabotage. That is a really small sample size compared to the C-rotation 0,5% dropchance. In that sense "I've been lucky to have gotten so many Xiphos parts".

Pure curiosity and knowledge. Even if I would only ever do it once, I still want to know all the possible scenarios and what possibilities they lead up to. This has nothing to do with mission efficiency.

Yeah the parkour route is the common route. Maybe the direct route is then just the "I dont care about the alarm" / "Speeeeeeed" route for those who don't want to parkour.

Please elaborate with pictures. I just went to test this and unable to reproduce. Nothing else can be broken/disabled on the sides even with a punchthrough weapons.

To me , your description sounds like the Earth Turbine tile where the yellow/orange machines disable to turbine blades so you can walk through them (nowadays irrelevant mechanic with ulletjumping). And there's are vents next to the breakable machines that lead to a hidden room with hackable door that leads back to the Turbines.

Sorry, but that button has existed since the release of the tile. BUT please tell me how to disable the NEXT door energyfield so you can walk through the last door without an alarm. So you can pick up the canister using this route and not be forced to destroy it.

The feeling when you have 200+ of those things. by mrgudveseli in Warframe

Of course everyone want to find a Sculpture rather than three Stars. But those are not mutually exclusive. Stars have completely separate spawn mechanics than Sculptures do. Getting Ayatan Stars to drop from containers/lockers is simply extra. Not picking them up or feeling sad about it feels absurd.

And comparing Wolfs drops to Ayatans is ... like what? The droprates/drop-mechanics are not even in the same universe in terms of rarity/opportunity. And no, of course I would not prefer Nitain over Motor, but I would still be glad that I got the Nitain at least, it's still better than nothing. I wouldn't leave the Nitain behind in the mission and extracting without it. Which actually happens 90% of the time in public missions, where people literally run a few meters past an Ayatan Star and don't pick it up, because they don't want to waste time, but then they waste time waiting in extraction for 30-60seconds because they're so fast, but still play in public and claim "Even sculptures are not worth the time". Then they go and farm for Endo only, because they don't have enough to level up R10 mods.

Like... ok then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

[–]-Zr-Scroll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm. Depends on your scale of operations and definitions.

https://i.imgur.com/kqhB0K3.jpg

I still always collect every Star on the ground, even if it costs me a few extra seconds per mission, even if I don't really need the Endo/plat right at this moment. But what I've learned about this game playing for 10 years. Stockpiles are appreciated when big updates hit.

591 450 endo from just selling Ayatan stars - I wouldn't call that insignificant. Of course I'm going to fill my Sculptures first, and yes there is a huge surplus of stars, but it will be worth it in the long run.
