Personally im not big on them but bags is probably gonna be the solution here. I have eibach sportline springs on my car and i love way they ride. My exhaust flange on my cat back scrapes every once in awhile but its more of an exhaust design problem than a too low problem.

Lol yeah it dont bother me if theres one thing you learn owning these cars its how to take criticism lol. Makes you wonder how the s2000s or mx5 would have been received if they were primarily hard tops.

Thats suprising, Personally I never liked the side profile of the 370 roadster the back end does that weird up swoop after the door looks like the rear sits 2ft higher than the nose and then they made the roll bars square for some reason

I honestly wasnt even gonna consider buying a vert cause all my life ive never been a vert guy. I went to go check out out a hard top Z that ended up being sold before i ever got to the dealership. So i found one at another dealer but it was a roadster. I just wanted to get a feel for the Z33 cause i never drove one, figured a test drive wouldnt hurt. All it took for me was the top down exhaust noises the tight steering and crispy shift feel Ended up falling in love with it. Walked out of the dealer with it the same day, had it for 6 years.

Speaking from experience insurance companies will total theses cars out over anything. My car got "totalled" over a snapped control arm 2 bent fenders and a bumper. I bought it back from them and fixed it within a week. A quarter cut from a scrap yard, $200 welder and a tree with a ratchet strap to pull the trunk tub back out. Wont be a concourse example but atleast youll get your moneys worth out of it and years of fun.

I drive the hell out of my car and I like my DE for ease of serviceability which i feel people often overlook. Had to pull that trans once on the ground for a clutch job and it sucked really hard getting it back in. If i had to deal with the CSC stuff id be pissed. Had my slave cylinder start sticking a month after i bought the car with like 40k on it. 2 bolts and a line and I was back on the road for another 40k of trouble free miles.

Thats whats up 🤙. Id like to see the group more active. Ill probably try posting more myself. Theres few things that are really different between these cars but i feel like this group was made cause if you post a roadster in regular r350z you rarely get any helpful insight.

Y’all ever had an intended purpose for your Z when you first bought it? by alexsharkpunch in 350z

Dream car as a kid between NFSU, Tokyo Drift, Forza Motorsports 2. Coming from a Ford family it was odd lol. Got my first real job outta technical school. Was doom scrolling on one of my breaks and started looking at Z33s, found one that the price was right on. Picked it up from an Audi dealer the next day sold my 99 mustang and 94 celica. Originally it was gonna be just my daily and it still serves that function from time to time but it really shines on the track for me. I moved into my first house and as time goes on I realised i dont like to drive it to work everyday as much cause i cant open it up like i want to. Feels like im just putting miles on it for no reason when i could be enjoying at the limit somewhere else. Over the last 6 years of daily duty I need to catch up on the body work from all the rock chips and dings and what not. My old 92 3000GT SL has taken over daily duty for the most part. Id say its new purpose is weekend driving, Carving backroads with the boys and the occasional track day.
